Discussion: Trump, Amid Ongoing Wiretap Claims, Says Obama Was 'Very Nice' To Him

Slow news morning, I guess.

Of course Obama was “nice.” That’s the kind of guy he is. But Trump’s underlying personality deficits to need people to be “nice” to him is sickening.

“How nice it was of him to never once question the legitimacy of my birth certificate to curry favor with repugnant racists.”

If Trump was a farm animal, he would’ve been put out of his misery by now. Ivanka - get your dad some help.

And Trump has been very, very mean to President Obama.

Trump is a sick person.

Sooooooooo…

He “wiretapped” your residence and yet you claim he’s “very nice” to you?

Well, OK then.

Trump is a parrot, he repeats things he hears because he lacks the ability to understand the written word.

The more we piece together the ineptitude of this guy, remember during his first visit with Obama he and his crew seem to have no idea how many people they would have to replace in the WH?

I wish Obama would sue Comrade Chaos for slander. It’d be a slam dunk. And not only would it put an immediate end to this particular chapter of bullshit, the discovery itself would be a well-deserved and worthwhile slap down to this asshole’s criminal inanity.

He won’t, of course. Why? Because he’s “a nice guy.”

P.S. Either Rogue White House or White House staffer has tweeted that Obama quit taking Micturition Man’s phone calls shortly after the inauguration. I can’t imagine why.

To curry favor with - or perhaps to signal affinity with?

Well since we all didn’t turn on Obama and rip him to shreds it’s now Obama’s people who are not nice to him.

…and they still haven’t replaced most of them.

Inept is an understatement.

Trump obviously doesn’t recognize civility when he sees it.

They thought they got to keep almost the entire WH staff. This is their level of ineptitude (not just Trumps). Combined with Trump’s mental and social emotional shortcomings, it makes for a mess. And given how extreme agendas are being pushed beneath him - as personified in the proposed budget - I am thankful for their level of ineptitude. They expose the extremism while (so far) lacking the ability to effectively impose the extremism (again, so far.)

Nor can he respond to it when confronted with it with another world leader.

Indeed. He’s lucky he became President and his every utterance gets a certain amount of attention, because Jesus Christ Almighty even for a crazy person he’s ultimately incredibly boring. Oh, and if you took the most obnoxious, ignorant, antagonistically jerky bro from every dorm in the country and compressed them, neutron-star fashion, into a super-concentrated ball of assholeishness, you’d have Jesse Watters. He’s Fox’s Stuttering John, just with less talent and dignity.

Does this sound familiar? Sakarya is in Turkey’s very conservative, religious (the Koran Belt?) heartland.

Ah, the personality cult!

Turkey"s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan addresses his supporters in Sakarya, Turkey, Thursday, March 16, 2017.

As the helicopter whirred overhead, the warm-up act boomed out: “Recep Tayyip Erdogan is arriving!” Hordes of adoring fans frantically waved their flags and chanted his name.

Some elderly women fainted - from the excitement or the pressure of the crowd, it wasn’t clear. As Turkey’s President emerged, a teenage girl thrust her phone into my hand: “Please, take a photo of me with him in the background,” she cried. Their hero had arrived.
European leaders may recoil at the Turkish president’s outbursts this week - labelling the Dutch and German governments “Nazis” and “fascists” - but here, in his conservative, religious heartland, Recep Tayyip Erdogan can do no wrong.

‘What would we have done without him?’
