“I think Hollywood and most of the literature, by the way, parents all across the country who like me have sought out the advice of doctors and read hundreds of articles about anorexia and bulimia have found Hollywood, the people who support Mrs. Clinton, are far more to blame.”
This part is especially weird… I would think the Miss Universe pageant would be considered part of “hollywood” in the way she is talking about it (the entertainment industry). And Trump, as owner of a major beauty pageant, would definitely be part of those she is blaming for anorexia and bulimia. I’m just confused why she somehow thinks Miss Universe is not part of that.
I don’t know, did you see Betsy attacking the ACA on the John Stewart show? She is actually the master dissembler when it comes to medical facts. That’s how she can call tobacco a life saving drug and refer to end of life counseling as a terrifying threat of euthanasia.
Why is this woman even invited on TV to give her opinion?
This is the lying liar who torpedoed the Clinton health care plan by lying about it. Then she tried to torpedo Obamacare by lying about that. She invented the “death panels” myth.
“I think Hollywood and most of the literature, by the way, parents all across the country who like me have sought out the advice of doctors and read hundreds of articles about anorexia and bulimia have found Hollywood, the people who support Mrs. Clinton, are far more to blame.”
“It’s a fair cop, but society’s to blame”
“Right; we’ll arrest them, instead!” *
*apologies to Monty Python and their oh-so-spot-on observations…
Whenever I see someone like that, who lobbies for the profit motives of the health insurance industry I think of that movie “Thank You for Smoking”. That was such a funny movie. Merchants of Death. Lobbyists like her have no shame. She fits in perfectly with a Drumpf scam-paign.
Betsy’s career consists of putting a plate of steaming dog shit on the table and then trying to convince everybody it’s the finest filet mignon. The gullible pick up the knife and fork and tuck in.
“I don’t,” McCaughey said. “I think Hollywood and most of the literature, by the way, parents all across the country who like me have sought out the advice of doctors and read hundreds of articles about anorexia and bulimia have found Hollywood, the people who support Mrs. Clinton, are far more to blame.”
Yeah, that’s the way I saw it too. None of those girls appeared to be anorexic at all. This isn’t about anorexia. This is about a potential president who disrespects and shames women.
Totally OT, but something which might shame Trump. He gets away with saying he has his own hair, but what about the dye job? Don’t you think he would freak out if someone mentioned this?
“No, it’s absolutely natural. Same color as 30 years ago…”
