Dear Trump Allies,
It only feels like you are boxed in a corner, folks. But the walls are creeping closer - at this pace, youâll really be boxed into a corner, very soon.
For added dash of fun - consider the gossipy new about to be released Wolfe book - which relies heavily upon Bannon - who reportedly suggests that Trump isnât smart, isnât a billionaire, and will likely see some of his base turn on him.
Oh the Tanties you are going to have to live through and pretend
arenât happening that are ahead of youâŚ
And singling you out McMajLeaderTurtle. perhaps you should retire soon, because I think it is likely to become pretty ugly for you, too.
Shift? Theyâll be like running the INDY 500 backwards as fast as theyâll be fleeing.
This is good good good. Barr admitted he hadnât reviewed everything before writing his initial lies in that 4 page letter, so what Team Grift (including Barr) is now admitting is that Barr âconcludedâ there was no obstruction without any real basis for drawing the conclusion. Responsible attorneys in positions of power donât do that unless theyâre shills serving a tribal agenda.
ETA: we need to get out there claiming that the WH is now admitting and gloating that theyâve succeeded in pulling off a Saturday Night Massacre.
Gee, donât they find it laughable to say that a Trump cabinet member confirmed heâs innocent?
Ah how the mighty Legal Houdini has fallen with his toes just over the line. FAULT!
Losing Team
"Mike Pence echoed that rhetoric in a statement of his own that said that the âDepartment of Justice concluded there was no collusion and no obstructionâ.â
âAttorney General Fox has concluded that no crimes were committed during The Henhouse Incident!â
(âNow, if youâll excuse me, I need to finish this delicious chicken dinner.â)
Wow, SHS looks like sheâs having a GREAT day!
BewareâŚnow heâll throw an epic McEnroe tanty (to borrow from whoever started using that word here heheâŚI like itâŚis good word).
Chant at next Trump rally:
The âDepartment of Justice concluded there was no collusion and no obstruction!â
Hmmm. Not very snappy. Needs work.
Itâs nice to keep in mind, at least once in a while, that we donât have to rely on what the Trump people tell us the Mueller Report says and finds. We can read it ourselves.
Mueller did not address âcollusionâ at all other than to say that the is no federal law using that terminology.
He did present a lot of evidence of what it might be appropriate to colloquially call collusion.
He also repeatedly made the case that it would be reasonable to apply the obstruction statutes to a president, because subjecting one to this standard would not impede his ability to lawfully carry out his constitional duties so long as he performs them in a non corrupt way.
So all of these nuanced talking points are poo-poo.
Theyâre running out of language.
As every lawyer who has practiced criminal law knows, many clients are found not guilty, but only a few are innocent.
Or, as Big Jule so eloquently said in Guys and Dolls - âWell, I used to be bad when I was a kid, but ever since then Iâve gone straight, as has been proved by my record: Thirty-three arrests and no convictions!â
Donât worry! Theyâll make more!
theyâve still got covfefe
âTrump Allies Shift Their âNo Obstructionâ Refrain After Mueller Speaks Publiclyâ
âTrump Allies Now Gloating that They Finally Pulled Off a Saturday Night Massacreâ
FIFY
Tortured language = tortured logic = tortured legal conclusions.
Daily obstruction concealed collusion at the highest levels of the campaign and family.
