Discussion: Trump Agrees To Three Debates—But He Wants To See The Conditions First

Trump can’t get through one sentence without contradicting himself–“I will debate, but I have to see the conditions before I agree to debate.”

What?

Doesn’t matter at this point whether or not there are debates. If there are, Clinton slices and dices Trump and wins. If there aren’t, Trump looks like a chicken – and, again, Clinton wins.

Trump: “I want to debate very badly.”

And he will.

Very, very badly.

The moderators must be Ivanka, Eric, and Donald, Jr. , with Putin as first alternate.

And that’s non-negotiable!

Unlike in the primary, Trump has no leverage now. Because of his bad poll numbers vs. Hillary, he’ll HAVE to debate to try to change the race. The commission can just say no to any demands he makes.

Either that or he’s just giving up.

They last less than 2 minutes, though

Ask all the people who had agreements with Trump he later tore up about the value of his word.

Don’t forget Palin. Imagine the word salad with both Trump & Palin at the same time.

Trump went on to say, “Sean Hannity will moderate the first debate, my daughter Ivanka will moderate the second, and for the final debate, Hillary can choose between Ann Coulter, Steve Doocey, or Julian Assange. Otherwise this whole thing is rigged.”

Great response…

“I’ll have to see who the moderators are. Yeah, I would say that certain moderators would be unacceptable, absolutely,” Trump said. “I did very well in the debates on the primaries. According to the polls, I won all of them. So I look forward to the debates. But, yeah, I want to have fair moderators … I will demand fair moderators.”

“It is concerning that the Trump campaign is already engaged in shenanigans around these debates. It is not clear if he is trying to avoid debates, or merely toying with the press to create more drama. Either way, our campaign is not interested in playing along with a debate about debates or bargaining around them. The only issue now is whether Donald Trump is going to show up to debate at the date, times, places and formats set by the commission last year through a bipartisan process. We will accept the commission’s invitation and expect Donald Trump to do the same.”
