Discussion: Trump Again Dodges Saying Whether He'll Support RNC Pledge

I love that somebody this egocentric, circular, and stupid is going to be the Know-Nothing Party’s candidate.

Unformed, his ideas come from nowhere, and they just float around un-moored on the surface of his consciousness like icebergs until he lights on one. Then, if they prove unpopular, and another one comes along, he hops on that one. He´s comfortable in that mental landscape. Me, it would scare the hell out of, and I´d seek help.

Wow! Donald feels he’s being “discriminated” against?

How in the world can one white man discriminate against another white man?

I don’t think I have to comment too much on it right now.

Anyone notice he’s saying this more and more in the last week, as if this is his strategery to avoid the bad press? No comment? That’s gonna fly like a penguin.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump again dodge saying Sunday whether he would keep with the RNC pledge and support the Republican nominee despite meeting with the party's leaders last week.

Jesus Heche Christ, hire a copy editor already.

That’s easy. I’ll readily admit I’m biased against idiocy. Like Trump, I’m an older white male, but because of the previous sentence I will continue to discriminate against him.

Look, all his hotel housekeepers use Pledge®…

Translation: My only principle is that it’s all about me. I’ll support the party if I’m the nominee, otherwise forget it.

Precisely.

Okay, I get the idiocy claim.

But Trump’s statement seems to imply “the establishment” which are primarily run by white men are being discriminating towards him and I frankly find that hard to believe.

Perhaps I should have made my prior comment more clearer, rather than applying a broader paint brush.

HT to digbysblog, Ezra Kein believes that Trump, despite appearances, has a clear and consistent core message. Unfortunately, it makes Trump even scarier than an un-moored, erratic, and arbitrary Trump is.

OMG, he´s right, of course. I am making the same mistake as others in dismissing him.

If he does get the nomination he’ll say the same thing about seeing how they’re treated before telling his supporters to back the country after the general election. He’ll probably say it in front of a giant flag before a crowd chanting USA! USA!

Speaking of stupid. Mr trump says on CNN: " Why is Kasich allowed to run?" (my emphasis). According to trump, other people aren’t allowed to challenge him. (whiny voice) '*It’s not fair ma!!! The other kids hate me!!! WAAAAAA!!!23#$%one!!!1!1!1!1!1!1!1!!!11

Remember when Trump was talking about hurting the families of terrorists? Putin may very well have been his model: http://www.nytimes.com/2016/03/30/world/europe/russia-chechnya-caucasus-terrorists-families.html

Tell you though, if the old boy has to repeat everything he says three times, he is going to be mighty tired by the convention. He might be able to get by with his usual two repetitions, but three is pushing it.
