Discussion: Trump Adviser Bashed US Policy Toward Russia In July Moscow Speech

"“Washington and other Western capitals have impeded potential progress through their often hypocritical focus on ideas such as democratization, inequality, corruption, and regime change.”

Well, we know that a Trump administration would not pay any attention to democracy, inequality or corruption. Here or abroad.

I’ve also heard there are potential business opportunities in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Just sayin’…

Wow, maybe Trump really IS a Russian plant! Just one more reason to shun him and his candidacy. Great job, Reince!

Why are Page, Manafort and others not registered as foreign agents?

Trump: Putin can be the first leader of a new cross-continent country. We will be part of United States of Russia.

Who is to say they are not?

This guy has been an ex-pat turn-coat for a while now, making his living from the Russian oligarchs by speechifying against the US.

Yes but the “serious” people continue to maintain that the connections of the Trump campaign to Russia is a non-issue which need not be discussed. Just because his campaign manager is evidently still being paid by the Russian government (see NYT two days ago) we shouldn’t suppose that has any influence on Trump’s Russia policy. Why, that would be a conspiracy theory!

The message is clear. The hatred possessed by the Trump voters supersedes all objective policy considerations.

According to the latest data, that’s between 41% and 45% of the population.

It may look like snark, but it is not.

I find this whole nexus between Republicans and Putin’s Russia one of the more bizarre aspects of this election cycle. And yet I still see Trump supporters red-baiting Democrats on Facebook and elsewhere and calling us un-American, traitors, etc. The cognitive dissonance is astounding.

This guy needs to get a lot more press coverage. He is quite possibly even deeper in the Oligarchs’ pockets than Manafort is. The combination of the two leaves very little doubt where Trump is.

Why not Iran? They have tons of oil, and would love to increase trade with the US.

Now this is the “Red Dawn” reboot that out reboots the other one and brings the Russkies back!

In his July speech in Moscow, Page said that if the U.S. were to lift sanctions on Russia, American companies could begin to work with Russian entities in the oil business, according to the Huffington Post.

“So many people who I know and have worked with have been so adversely affected by the sanctions policy,” Page told Bloomberg in March. “There’s a lot of excitement in terms of the possibilities for creating a better situation.”

Yes, I’m sure that NATO, the EU and many Ukrainians would be very excited to see this happen.

Oh, and Mr. Page: the price of oil has plunged in recent months and will probably be low for the foreseeable future. What would be the benefit of this “working with Russian entities in the oil business”?

He looks like a Stepford wife, except he’s a dude…

The fact that he’s pretty free with the info that he has investments in Gazprom speaks volumes.

Now we know WHO was responsible for changing the RNC platform.

Post pictures of this and tell 'em this is what a vote for Trump is. And slip in “pinko bastards” because “pinko” is an awesome word.
