President Donald Trump has been encouraged to stop tweeting about the 2016 Trump Tower meeting
That’ll stop him, I’m sure.
Please proceed Donald…
Love the way the Orange Brat never does what he’s told.
Mr. President, you’ve gotten where you are by doing the opposite of what your advisors have told you. Why change a winning formula?
Trump should call Mueller before he tweets, for some honest advice.
You can’t stop a bird from Tweeting. Nor a birdbrain…
He’s done a lot of damage in his life, and he’s in a position to do more. A lot more. And I understand why people say “don’t underestimate him.” But it’s also possible to overestimate a person so incredibly reckless, impulsive, and foolish, and so lacking any ability to think or plan. He’s destroyed his own world more than once, and if the GOP hadn’t driven itself insane he’d still be nothing but the proprietor of a rapidly fading reality-show franchise and a D-list celebrity famous for buffoonery and pretending to be rich. You can warn him, but he won’t listen. He should. But he won’t.
Don Jr - If your father says he has complete confidence in you, well - you know what to do.
Pack that bug-out bag today.
Can’t tell from the article WHO gave him this advice. But hopefully it was someone who he regularly ignores.
After pretty much confessing to knowing about it, all that’s really left for him is to blame Hillary…
Oh, he’s doing that already ? He is so far ahead of the libtards, it’s like multi-dimensional Chutes & Ladders.
He’s a dickhead – he won’t listen. Or, if he listens for a little while, sooner or later the pressure to do his own thing means it’ll explode out of him like pus from a boil. It always does.
OT, but fingers crossed here:
According to the Daily Beast, Wilbur Ross has been accused of stealing over $120M.
Geez would I love it if they get this revolting worm out too.
It makes you wonder if the people around him, while being morally repugnant too, are somehow not trying to help. Everyone picks up on the reverse-psych thing pretty early in life and this putz would be easy to manipulate if you were actually trying to steer him away from disaster.
Yes, he’s a bad boy and deserves a — never mind.
I have an idea. For a Public Service Announcement on TV:
Jack Nicholson does a reprise of Jake Gittes of Chinatown. The scene where he is telling a dirty joke to two acquaintances in his office and hasn’t noticed that there is a lady at his door (Faye Dunaway) and he just plows on through to the punch line of the dirty joke which is not only crude but includes an ethnic slur. So he should reprise his joke for Donald Trump in the Public Service Announcement. And at the end, instead of the original punch line, he should look into the Camera and tell Donald Trump, “Honey, you’re tweeting us just like a Scared Shitless Guilty Person.”
@mattinpa and I are holding a scripting conference right after lunch. We are gonna invite @seamus42 and @irasdad, but they have to attend the lunch with us in order to consume the necessary libations to make the conference duly creative.
Thanks for that
Makes my day
He’s dirty and thought no one would notice
It would be a delight to watch him quiver under the spotlight
Yes that’s the problem—giving oxygen to the topic and not letting everyone just forget about it. It couldn’t be that he implicated his son—and himself—in a felony.
What an utterly surreal title.
“Nixon advised to stop writing letters to the editor about the Watergate break-in”
“Harding advised to quit shouting from the White House balcony that the Teapot Dome scandal was totally normal and any politician would do it”
“Johnson advised to quit licking the taint of former slave states on daguerreotype”
This makes me think about the upcoming Bob Woodward book. I’m not sure, but I think Woodward is considered a pretty thorough researcher in terms of sourcing (please correct if I’m mistaken; I haven’t read any of his books post-Watergate). This means that a boatload of people inside the WH talked to him and supposedly it’s pretty explosive (I know; what the hell does that mean anymore?).
Wait: I know who advised him. His BFF! He will listen to his pal Vlad.
