Aw c’mon, now ya got me confused donnie.
question
How can the news be fake and not fake at the same time?
answer
When trump is involved.
Looks like the fix is in w/Sinclair.
Are you in a dither? I’m pretty sure I’m not in a dither. Not about Tony Podesta anyway.
Are all the people trump has hired unpaid volunteers? Actually that question should be for Sarah Hamhock.
I’m not too plugged into THE SWAMP, but yesterday was the first time I ever heard the man’s name.
“Fake,” er, “Fox News” is real? It’s real propaganda, that we can all agree on. Hair Furor is losing it, more quickly every day. 25th Amendment time?
When it comes to trump I’m usually in a lather and ready to chuck things. I fondly cast my memory back to the Obama years when there was a lack of scandal. Actual important news got reported and the president didn’t “govern” by twitter’s 140 character tweeters. Anyone who criticized or disagreed with Obama wasn’t pilloried on social media by a blithering man/child.
I wait impatiently for the day trump is publicly humiliated and thrown out of office.
Fake News - News Donald Trump doesn’t like
Real News - News Donald Trump likes
It really is that simple, folks.
Pfft. In wide-ranging investigations lots of people get questioned. Sometimes they get into trouble themselves. But rarely do the actual original targets of the wide-ranging investigations turn out squeaky clean. Trump is Ground Zero of the greatest political scandal in U.S. and maybe world history. I don’t think Tony Podesta’s situation is dramatic enough to distract from that.
Trump was also frustrated with the attention being paid to George Papadopoulos, one of his campaign’s foreign policy advisers who recently plead guilty to lying to the FBI about his contacts with Russian officials, whom he was encouraged to meet with during the campaign, according to court documents.
That’s funny. Papadapolous was an “excellent guy” according to Trump not too long ago. It won’t be long before he denies ever knowing Lewandowski or Sessions. Then, Mueller will probably break into the inner sanctum of Kushner and Trump, Jr. There’s no way they aren’t guilty of various federal crimes.
At that point, I expect we’ll reach a Constitutional crisis if I know Donald Trump and these feckless, amoral congressional Republicans.
Exactly! He’s never had anything good to say about the media, but all of a sudden we’re supposed to believe the local media is good? Sinclair must have asked someone in the administration to cool it with the fake news stuff because it was hurting their ratings.
Maybe Donnie Dearest is trying to suck up with the Media since he is unable to control them.
He really has no where else to go. His tit is in the wringer.
The biggest scandal in US history seems pretty inevitable at this point. It makes the Teapot Dome scandal look like a tempest in a tea cup.
Have you ever heard of a candidate for the leadership of a world power colluding with a hostile foreign nation to tamper with its election in return for a set of policy changes? It’s unprecedented.
Ergo, the test of a propensity for authoritarianism.
I’m familiar enough with US History that I certainly agree with this being the greatest political scandal in the US. Teapot Dome -> Watergate -> Trump’s Russia with Love in my book. (Heck, sometimes it seems we have about one Teapot Dome scandal per Cabinet Position in the current administration.)
I haven’t heard of such a scandal on the global stage, but I’m not enough of a student of world history to know whether such a thing has or hasn’t happened before. And as you suggest, even if such a scandal exists, it probably wouldn’t have had the global impact that it does now unless it happened in the Roman Empire.
Is he bargaining now? “I’ll be nicer to you if you be nicer to me!?!?!? Pretty please!?!?!?!???”
