Unfortunately, there is a relatively important group of biggoted gay folks, many of them who did quite well for themselves financially, and are into the whole “I’m better than you are thing” Peter Thiel comes to mind as being an e.g. of this type of total peice of shit.
They spent their days telling each other that Trump is from NYC, so he can’t really be a bigot.
Gay republicans are like Republican voting African-Americans - not a lot of them (12% in the only poll I can find on the subject: LGBT Poll: People Feel Less Safe Under Donald Trump | TIME admitted they voted for Trump) but enough at the margins that if they woke up and turned on Trump it would have an impact.

I’d love to see gays make a hostile takeover of the shirts and make a run on the MAGA slogan.
Can you imagine 100 gays outside a Trumpp rally, all in gay pride shirts and…not much else but maybe a little leather…chanting Make America Great Again. They could point to everyone in MAGA gear, give them a nod of appreciation, and yell “thank you for your support.”
Yes to both, but you know what I mean. That would make it too easy for them to get all upset, whereas throwing a nutty and firing people and what not over support for gay rights would be fantastically stupid of them haha
