The Salvadorans have been here for a decade. PuPPet is ending a humanitarian program because that’s what he does best, never anything for anyone who’s not rich, white and an American citizen. I hope Latinos in the country will remember this and vote accordingly.

Since we know Trump is watching TV and can’t tie his own tie, who is making these decisions? My vote goes to Stephen Miller and/or John Kelly.
Given many of these people have families, the total number of people affected may be double or triple that.
This is another one of these issues which feeds the skewed GOP view of liberals as “bleeding hearts” and of immigrants as threats. GOP keeps threatening vulnerable populations to provoke us into conceding something major to them on a legislative front while they give us a crumb or two on basic human decency which they take away when no one is looking.
I don’t think we should concede here. The point is that the fate of theSalvadoran immigrants as well as DACA folks lies with this Trumper gov’t. They created this problem by targeting vulnerable folks. They need to fix it. If Dems don’t blink and demand unconditionally that impacted DACA and Salvadorans get full protections under the law, the GOP will be forced to either go the full Miller or cave, while we use the ACLU to challenge them in court. What the GOP is doing is cruel. They need to own it. When you run gov’t, you run it for everyone, not just white folks.
