I hope the Judge asks them the basis for needing this information as none exists.
The DOJ lawyer responded that because the âelection integrityâ commission is not an official government agency, it does not have to abide by these rules.
If they arenât âofficial,â they should be shut down, then.
Kobach has already all but acknowleged he needs it for some sketchy electoral campaign of his, no??
Pretty sickening, the synergy between a party that systematically suppresses votes and a President mentally ill enough to believe massive voter fraud robbed him of a popular-vote victory. I donât think any of us watching Barackâs inaugural in 2009 imagined weâd have slid back quite this far. Just got to slog on though. Hope the courts can mostly bat this thing down. Happy Saturday, everyone.
And why is a Pentagon website hosting this information? Trumpâs âblack helicopterâ friends wonât be happy.
Itâs maybe just oh-so-judgmental me again!
But if you dare, doesnât his grinning puss just fairly SCREAM to you, "KICK ME, IâM STUPID!??
OMG, thatâs the exact line that I honed in on. That admission is fatal to their case and will sink them.
They are admitting they have no statutory authority. This has to be the most incompetent administration I have ever seen.
Exactly. But itâs whatâs going to save us.
âPresidentinâ is hard!â
Who knew?
BUT â if the trumpists collect all the voter data themselves, then we would not even need the assistance of Russian hackers to achieve the desired electoral outcomes. We are losers if we reject their genius!
Thatâs the key point. When a federal judge asks the DOJ to identify evidence of fraud, the GOP is going to hand over a blank file.
Nor should they receive any funding whatsoever.
Remember all the screaming about the collection of census data? What happened to all those right wingers who thought that was so intrusive?

Is Kobach keeping a low profile because heâs afraid of criticism?
Kris Kobach, the Kansas secretary of state who helps run President Donald Trumpâs commission on election integrity, has blamed âfake newsâ and âobstruction by a handful of state politiciansâ for a mass refusal to give the panel data on millions of registered voters.
But given the chance to deliver that message to his counterparts in person this weekend at a meeting of the National Association of Secretaries of State, Kobach is apparently taking a pass.
âTalk about conspicuously absent,â California Secretary of State Alex Padilla said in a Friday phone call with Mic from the convention site in Indianapolis.
Kobach is âlodging criticism at those of us not seeking to fulfill his requests for data by saying, âWhat do we have to hide?ââ Padilla said. âWhat did he have to hide by not showing up?â
I bet Edward Snowden is outraged.
At the moment of âNo puppet, no puppet, youâre the puppetâ we started to know.
