I expect stress due to Trumpism to be declared a pre-existing condion (based of course on party affiliation) any day now.
Uh-ohâI mentioned that stress to my doctor a few months after the election. Now itâs in my records. Damn.
I would expect things like this to be immediate cause to repeal Hippa, or at least have it modified so that the government always has immediate access to your records
Trump must hate his base. In large part they are the ones being hurt.
Whenever I read those comments I am reminded of an acquaintance who was going through a divorce and trying to cheat his wife in the property settlement. He kept on saying âNo reason to get lawyers involved. Thereâs plenty for everyone.â
She didnât fall for it. I hope the voters donât either.
The timing for premium increases may come in handy. It bolsters my own pet theory: that he is actually trying to see what the limit is. Psychopaths like to play that game, I believe.

People need to be reminded of that last part. Like Trump, most people tend to believe the last thing they hear. My money, such as it is, rides on the bet that these lines are cued up for campaign commercials across the nation.
Republicans have effectively weakened our entire healthcare system. Employers who were already offering crappy plans can now effectively push you off to whatâs left of Obamacare. Suppliers are getting paid less and curtailing services. Why conservatives think this is going to please anyone is beyond me. They must really think only rich people ever get sick.
You would think that it might occur to someone that if their dream of a white majority country is in danger, theyâd be worried about procreation - and white peopleâs health. But I guess thatâs too complicated a thought pattern. And they will be saving all of those fetuses after all.
Well, it wouldnât be the first âBusinessmenâs Plotâ.
But, Oh The Irony!
But you forgot the most important part: Keep calling it Obamacare and the reason for every bad thing that happens to your healthcare. In fact, we shouldâve let them repeal it so that everyone knew who was responsible. Just like the coming Roe fight. Let them proudly repeal all of it - because they have nothing at all to fill in the vacuum. Just like the trade war.
Destroyed anything from the previous administration, especially something with Obama in the name, is the prime directive. That Trumps anything, including the welfare of the general population, aka, the 99%.
If the payments are legally required, itâs time for a lawsuit. And lots of publicity about how the âfreezeâ will affect premiums for the middle class.
Winning bigly leads ultimately to failure. Who knew?
In the 1987 miniseries, Amerika (about a Russian takeover of America-- total fiction, of course) one of the characters laments that the fruit of victory is more elusive than previously thought.
General Petya Samanov: âWhen you lose and fail, it is understandable. When you win and fail, that brings madness.â
Previous administration or everything thing put in place by FDR and everything after him?
Since the Reconstruction Amendments?
Sure.
Their spite for the American People has no bounds.
ââŚthe payments are required by lawâŚâ
The broader plan is evidently to undermine the legal and constitutional restrictions on executive power. Every time you donât hear the word âillegalâ in the reporting or from the mouths of the opposition, a further ratcheting step has been taken.
Cut #997.
