So, he is losing ?
More whining about not winning the âeasy to winâ trade war he is waging.
It is as if he starts each day subconsciously figuring what he can do or say to make himself appear to be âPunkedâ ⌠again. #WhenPlayingTheVictimCardMakesYouLookLikeAPunk
Yeah blaming someone else for the losses to american firms that he caused.
Losing??
Ha! Itâs clear you donât understand international trade.
We have them right where we want them.
I also say that when Iâm down a set and the other team is serving for the match at 5-0, 40-love and my partner just passed out from heat exhaustion.
First time in my life thereâs been a President I detest so much that I find myself rooting for the other team. Bad feeling.
Petulant pig.
Clearly we need one of those walkback press conferences where he can explain that he misspoke when he said we would tire of winning. He meant to say we would tire of his whining.
Is he going to bail out consumers who see the price of food rising?
Insult to injury.
My husband is a rep for an Ohio steel company and covers Michigan. Business is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay down as factories become very cautious about spending.
And the Chinese havenât started using the dirty tricks that are available to them. The communist party still runs things there, and for them is relatively easy to organize a âspontaneous consumer boycottâ against American products, or suddenly State-owned enterprises discover that there are better vendors in Europe. They can punish targeted US companies without tariffs being raised.
Only Donald can break agreements and use shitty tactics!
Huh. Last year, I predicted there would be a recession by the end of 2018. And that was before the tariffs horror. Why? Because he told all and sundry that it was coming. Some believed, some didnât.
Addressing the China trade relationship, Trump wrote on Twitter, âThey are being vicious in what will be their failed attempt. We were being nice â until now!â
Despite the fact that Rump stated his intentions loud and clear on the campaign trail, it seems to be dawning on some feral trumpers that no, that wasnât just ânoise.â That was him getting REAL and his base not getting the message that this wasnât an episode of reality tv. Nope - China is a major power on the world stage; they donât need to accept any ultimatum an insane American POTUS issues to them. Quite the contrary, itâs in their better interest to stand tall against the flat-earthers and tell them to pound sand.
ETA: If Xi Jinping really wanted to get ugly with this country, he could start by calling in our debt. It would affect everyone on the world markets but, at this point, yanking on the American chain might be seen as a necessary evil.
Who knew international trade was so complicated?
OK, whereâs my tank of diesel Spanky? Everyone should be treated equally, right?
One of the farmers interviewed yesterday said that he feared other countries would just find new sources and he and others could be locked out for a longer time.
I think that the US will be seen as an unstable supply source so long as Trump is in office and possibly for a while after heâs gone. Prudent foreign users of American soybeans, etc. will encourage alternate supply sources, such as converting additional South American land to soybean production. It will be hard for US producers to regain that market share.
To think,
trump thinks he is winning this high dive into oblivion.
Seems to me when taxpayers start bailing out the victims of this losers ideas, someone needs to go âsplatâ
