You mean the “highly respected leader” who has sponsored the armed invasion and forced annexation of Crimea, insurrection in Eastern Ukraine, has threatened to invade Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, is now threatening Moldova, and is actively providing intensive military support of Syria’s Assad and for Iran? Unlike some other folk, I didn’t think Putin was trolling us when he expressed his Trump crush. I think Putin likes oligarchs, assuming they don’t get any ideas about muscling in on his turf, and he sees in Trump a would-be fellow strong man who would not be overly concerned with things like laws and democracy. And in Putin, Trump sees some sort of ideal form of governance. That’s why we have to keep Trump far, far away from power.

I’d guess Putin knows Trump’s main characteristics by now better than Trump knows himself. That’s true of most of us, though. You don’t need a superpower-level espionage network to get the general idea.

Trump’s fellow Republicans Pat Buchanan (in The American Conservative) Giuliani, Ralph Peters (Fox News) have praised Putin for his leadership as a “moral Christian”, and for his decisiveness in the Ukraine. What besides the declining price of oil and Israel is going on here? At the very least Pootie-Poot would like to expand the war and get that price up to $75 as would Texas via Canadian tar sands candidate Sen. Rafael Edward call me Ted Cruz who uses Texas crude in his hair. Not to mention Ellis call me Jeb Bush (3.0) who is basically Texan which gives us 2 candidates from Texas and gives me depression when I think of all these guys waving at each other across the geopolitical divide.
