Discussion: Trucks With Confederate Flags Put A Pause On Child's Birthday Party (VIDEO)

Discussion for article #238806

I’m glad the people videotaping weren’t intimidated and seemed to be mocking the guys that wanted to, actually I have no clue what they really wanted, but if it was fear, respect or intimidation it sure looks like it failed.

And now these yahoos are on the cop’s radar, too.

“Officers on scene were given conflicting statements as to what led up to the confrontation.”

It’s them kids fault. They were blindfolded and waving pinata clubs at us.

This kind of behaviour is why decent people hate that fucking rag.

Why do blacks and liberals always try to turn this kind of thing into a racial issue? Obviously, this was about heritage.

Keeping it classy, Georgia. They should have been “rolling coal” while they were at it. Adds to that douchebag mystique…

:disappointed: they seem like lovely neighbors.

Let me see if I understand this. Confederate-flag-waving imbeciles trespassed on someone else’s private property to threaten and terrorize people attending a child’s birthday party and not one white racist was arrested or shot dead by the police?

Looks sort of like Pickett’s Charge. That ended well, too.

I’m kind of glad when I see this type of thing because it further dispels the idiotic notion that flying the flag of treason is somehow about honoring one’s loser heritage. It’s not. We can debate the merits of confederate soldiers and whether or not their courage in battle deserves respect. We can do that all day long, but what’s no longer up for debate is what that flag currently stands for and what it’s stood for over the last several decades. It’s the flag of hate and those who fly it should be mocked, shamed, and ridiculed for doing so.

ETA: Maybe I’m seeing things, but at about 35 seconds I spotted what looks to be a Tea Party flag, but I must be mistaken because, ya know, they’re not racist.

There were likely off-duty cops in the mob.

Now THAT is race-baiting.

If the message they were trying to send was “Hey look at us, here we are, a bunch of stupid, hateful, ignorant, racist cowards, with absolutely no sense of decency,” then well done – message received, loud and clear.

In Georgia, being a racist thug making threats may not make much of a blip on the cops’ radar.

As a Civil War buff for about a year-and-a-half now,it makes me sad and angry at the same time to see that kind of stuff.

It is about heritage. A heritage of acting like assholes and threatening black people.
