I read a report last week that said the bill had already topped $260 million. More than $1 each for every single adult citizen in the country. The Pentagon wasn’t kidding when they said it was an expensive waste of money and resources.

in addition to packing up and leaving before any migrants even arrived, they were camped 1,500 miles from the border crossing the caravan is expected to arrive at.

In every way a political stunt, and nothing to do with National Security.

Also, does anyone else find it disturbing that “Homeland” is still being used in the same way “Fatherland” was in Nazi Germany?

Alternative words: nation, country, our borders… “the homeland” is a nationalist term. It really needs to be scrubbed.
