When some creep like Harvey Weinstein or Brett Kavanaugh forces a woman to look at and even handle his junk, that’s assault. The Brazilian-wax woman deserves the same protection as any other woman.
Initiatives like this are the legislative equivalent of SLAPP litigation. Even if successful they would have no effect on the acts they claim to be opposing, and they force decent people to spend time and money batting the bigotry down.

This looks like AP concern trolling to me. I have seen three good polls on this in MA. All three have this ballot question at over 70% support for maintaining the anti discrimination law this ballot question seeks to eliminate. Does not look like this law is under any threat at all. The anti discrimination law actually is polling better than Charlie Baker or Liz Warren both of whom are expected to win by nearly 30 points. Do not even know why a story like this even made it to print.

Not only bullshit, but dangerous bullshit. Because not infrequently people whose gender and sexual presentations are not cis/straight have gotten tagged with offenses that led to registration as sex offenders. (I’m old enough to remember when the thousands of people who were on registries for consensual gay sex were getting their names purged.)
