My guess is that he’s found out that Trump is an unmanageable client. That Trump won’t listen to his advice. That Trump has no impulse control. That Trump is probably guilty of most of what he’s been accused of.
And that he’s far less important to Trump than Giuliani is.
That’s gotta hurt.

Makes sense, I assume there is little left for him to do. Job well done sir!
Secretary of Shenanigans?
I believe that would fall under the Secretary of Covfefe’s remit.
To be fair, it’s not as if he had good material to work with.
“Never try to teach a pig to sing. It wastes your time, and it annoys the pig.”
That’s gotta be an exhausting job.
Yeah. Donald Trump’s first legal ethics teacher was Roy Cohn. Donald Trump and his early transition team had no idea he would have to hire an entire White House Staff (for all their railing against Deep State and career public servants with valuable expertise). And they had just won an election by using the help of Russia’s GRU and various of its stooges and cut outs. You think this President and his most trusted advisors have any ingrained sense of Public Servant ethics? They probably all sneer at anyone who makes a career pursuing anything but making the most money possible and being as unethical as they can get away with.
Passantino was always planning to leave the White House around this time
unh, huh, riiiiight.
and has been commuting between Washington, D.C. and Atlanta since he started.
On one of those specially chartered flights available to WH staff only?
One close adviser to the White House called Passantino the “clean-up guy” because of his role of having to educate Trump’s officials about the ethics associated with working as a public servant.
I’m confused. Is he a swamp drainer or a swamp filler?
Probably hasn’t been paid yet.
“Swamp drained, my work is done”.
Any time he was successful in teaching a staffer what ethics were, they quit the administration and he had to start over with a new person.
