Way too many “Millers” in the Gold House, IMHO.
Another Trump Administration hack soon to be banned from all self-respecting cable news channels.
Think we all know damn well the only forthcoming “evidence” will be a tweet attacking Stephanopolis work in the Clinton WH.
Funny that the NH Secretary of State and all local elections officials agree there is zero evidence of massive fraud.
Oh, but Stephen Miller knows. He knows everything. He’s got a secret eye that can see bad hombres voting illegally. And Kris Kobach, that paragon of virtue, can back him up.
Well, being a robot, Mr. Miler just took away a job from a human. Way to go, Donnie!
There’s some chatter on Twitter that Miller may very well be replacing Spicer as Press Sec. Apparently, Rump is mucho impressed with Miller’s style. That would be the ability to go out in front of the cameras with preloaded talking points without having to going on a rage bender.
Looked like he was reading off a TelePrompter a lot of times and most of the answers repeated several of the same lines.
That and his ability to channel Roy Cohn.
There is proof of widespread voter fraud because Micturition Man has a “long-standing belief” of it.
Case closed.
Ah, a Wedge Policy Advisor then…
He has John Miller’s genes.
I live in NH and follow politics closely. I have been a senior appointee of both Dem and Rep governors. Miller is just like Trump: A liar. A low-life. Last week I ran into the former Chairman of the NH Republicans, who I knew well as he was our county Senator and then a commissioner for a state agency. I asked him what he thought of Trump: “Lying scumbag” was his concise reply.
“Having worked before on a campaign in New Hampshire, I can tell you that this issue of bussing voters into New Hampshire is widely known by anyone who’s worked in New Hampshire politics,” Miller said.
I’m not familiar with this issue at all, so I can’t say whether or not there is even a grain of truth to it. But, I noticed that Miller did not describe the voters bused into New Hampshire as “illegal” voters. I’m not aware of any law that prohibits busing registered voters to cast their legal ballots.
Yes, this occurred to me. In fact, college students often go to their home states to vote by organized bus trips, as I understand it.
I think that you just hit the nail on the head!
@centralasiaexpat
So, Republicans don’t want college students voting in the college town (where they spend most of the year anyway) … nor at their hometown precinct. Gee, Republicans, how American of you.
Not a big Andrew Sullivan fan but I like his strategy for combating the non-stop lying:
“Here is what we are supposed to do: rebut every single lie. Insist moreover that each lie is retracted — and journalists in press conferences should back up their colleagues with repeated follow-ups if Spicer tries to duck the plain truth. Do not allow them to move on to another question. Interviews with the president himself should not leave a lie alone; the interviewer should press and press and press until the lie is conceded. The press must not be afraid of even calling the president a liar to his face if he persists.”
Stephanopolous was not bad here but the point is that he should not move on to the next question or just conclude the interview when a huge lie like that is put forward. Just keep pressing over and over.
White House senior policy advisor Stephen Miller doubled down Sunday on President Donald Trump’s unsubstantiated claims of massive voter fraud during the 2016 election.
I realize that TPM can’t say this, but I can:
The copy should read “White House senior policy advisor and white nationalist Stephen Miller…”
“I suggest you invite Kris Kobach onto your show and he can walk you through some of the evidence of (thousands of) voter fraud in greater detail.”
When Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach ® filed his first criminal charges regarding alleged instances of double-voting in 2015, all three defendants were registered Republicans. A local prosecutor apparently declined to bring two of the three cases, and all three complaints lacked detail about the alleged double-voting involved.
Smack!!
