Discussion: Top Trump Aide Resigns Amidst Campaign Staff Reorganization

LOL! I JUST posted about this on another thread, and here it pops up

Really bad time to have internal disagreements emerging at this level. The Manafort-Lendowsky flare up apparently is going to continue for some time.

Which is just awesome in my book

Rats-ship-jump! Hah!

O.K. here’s a prelude: when things really start going south, Trump will stop paying all the hired help, stiff all the vendors as he’s done countless times and retreat to Trump Towers to blast all the media, RNC, et al. This fellow saw the handwriting-on-the-wall and said nope, I got paid until now but…

Just watch as other paid staff start leaving in droves…the signal they aren’t getting paid!

Is it legal for a campaign to declare a strategic bankruptcy? :smirk:

Oh! Those Trump campaign meetings are becoming a must see!

Ahhh! And The Donald promised us the YOOOGEST! and classiest presidential campaign in history.
And the immortal words of Ill Douche’: "I am the only one who can make America truly great again!”

As is often the case, what isn’t said is probably far more interesting and revealing than what is said.

We may hear more of this.

Ooga, ooga, dive, dive!!

Hah! He doesn’t even have to, just stop paying everyone and let them even try to sue.

Hey, Trump is tainted by all the stories of vendors getting only 1/2 payment, no final payment, etc. The saddest and true story I read earlier this year was from a very small woman owned firm who made up lots of some kind of fabric stuff (can’t remember exactly the item ) with a Trump logo but never got the final payment. She did finally get an answer though a lawyer she hired that said: we liked your stuff but be grateful you did work for the Trump organization as it’s more a less a feather in your hat…but no more money was every forthcoming!

Nice guys, eh? I’m amazed that Trump’s group can get ANYONE to work for him in NYC as similar stories are legion of getting screwed and the answer often is sue us and see if you can win let alone collect a judgment. What azzholes!

New phrase for The Donald’s campaign:

Manafort is a real indicator that when he jumped in the race he was not a serious candidate. None of the people he originally surrounded himself with had experience running a national campaign.

Trump has a campaign staff? Who knew?
Gee wizz I thought that since he has the greatest memory and a fine brain that he didn’t need anyone else.

I will happily work for tRump, CASH up front 125% payment required, balance refunded if no changes and contract completes successfully

“I would rather go out on top than, you know, go after a loss or something.” No need to read between the lines there. He knows what we all have known, pretty much from the start. Trump does not have the support to win the general election.

[/quote]I can’t imagine trump being that careful with language. An underling yes, but not the Big Mouth

That’s what we all hope for. It all depends on some folks getting out to vote (democrats) and others using reason (everybody else).

But what does this have to do with Bernie Sanders?

Actually, Dorothy Parker coined the phrase, What fresh hell is this?
