Will he duck, dodge or weave?

Is anyone on the Committee fluent in Russian? Might be the best way to get answers.

It’s subpoena time in Washington DC, folks.

White House staff, watch out for those CYA buses when you cross the street.

But wait, Rasmussen is not very liberal.… Oh wait.

What’s that, Lassie? Donnie’s in trouble?. He fell into a hole? Good!

That or start the questioning with his felony failure to register. Sure, the answers will be him pleading the 5th, but that’s probably mostly what we’ll be getting from him anyway. Watching him squirm will be great theater.

Tis the season!

This is like a John Le Carre thriller–except we know everyone in Trump’s camp is a Russian toy. The game is getting them to expose each other.

Gosh, who knew ‘Indiana Pence and the Presidency of Doom’ would have so many twists and turns?
The Golden Trump should never have been taken from the vicious jungle cannibals.

Well, as I was musing on twitter this morning, the Manafort issue is invaribly going to lead to the question…“How did Manafort become so closely associated with Trump and his campaign?”

Which, if I remembering correctly, was largely at the doings of Priebus, who viewed that Manafort could be the bridge between the RNC and the Trump campaign, which was busy pissing all over the RNC at the time.

And Manafort did try to make that bridge, but was taken out at the knees by Trump each and every time he made any public attempt.

So…the question is…Did Priebus know about Manafort’s dealings and connections when he was pushing him on the Trump campaign? Or did Manafort lie to him? Or did Priebus merely turn an blind eye on purpose?

So yeah…once they start on Manafort, I see a subpoena landing on Priebus’ desk as inevitable.

I think it’s about time Trump installed a jacuzzi* in Manafort’s home in Trump Tower. (In case you missed it, that’s the official Russian reason why that lawyer slipped and fell out of a fourth floor window.)

@daveyjones64 Manafort was also instrumental in the choice of Pence for VP.

One strategy memo to Deripaska was written by Manafort and Rick Davis, his business partner at the time…Davis said he did not know that his firm had proposed a plan to covertly promote the interests of the Russian government. Davis said he believes Manafort used his name [in 2006] without his permission on the strategy memo… He took a leave of absence from the firm in late 2006 to work on John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign.
