The bullshit the do-nothing House is putting out about Benghazi in these statements will be their farewell addresses to their teabagger basses before they leave town for all of August, into September, and then again beginning the first week of October to election day in November. We the people should sue the House for their dismal legislative record and we do have standing. On the other hand they won’t be around to annoy us.

What counts as ‘strong leadership’ for the repugs? Bombing the shit
out of anyone in the mid east (cepting Israel) that does not agree with
us? Perhaps sending in a large contingent of Marines to Libya, Syria,
Iraq, Gaza, ad infinitum would be something they consider strong leadership.
What are their specific ideas on how all these matters should be handled
(aside from McCain and his loyal sidekick graham wanting to attack
everyone). You never see the specifics from these people, only the
constant pissing and moaning about how everything the president
does is a horrible mistake.

The republicans in Congress and other right-wing partisans met immediately after the president’s inauguration in January 2009 and agreed to block his agenda and also vowed to make him a one-term president. The inaction on the part of the House and the Rs in the Senate is what you see playing out. Between his election and 2010 when there was a Democratic majority in the House under the leadership of Nancy Pelosi, significant important legislation was passed. As soon the tea baggers took over in 2011, no further legislation was passed, and that was the intent of the teabaggers. The do-nothing House will now take off for August and again in October through early November, but they think suing will be effective. You’re an ass for ignoring the big picture and echoing what radio talkers and Faux news say.

Bill Maher had two tea party guests on last night and he did a good job of asking what Obama has done wrong and what would they recommend that he do differently. He said be specific. Be specific now. They came up with “failure of leadership” and other garbage and he called them on it. Their criticism boiled down to absolutely nothing of substance. He made them own it. He made them own that their criticism was worthless and nonsensical.
If only the actual news media could do that. Separating fact from fiction is their job. No matter what they tell you.

Wrong. The stock market is up because of some vague thing Reagan must have done. Osama’s dead because something Reagan did. And as far as your healthcare argument goes, that’s all attributable to Ronald Reagan. Unemployment is at 6.3 because of this one thing Ronald Reagan once did. It’s just that it’s now all finally taking effect.
