Discussion: Top Gov't Ethics Official Calls Out Questionable Moves By EPA Chief Pruitt

Thought Pruitt would be gone by now. This is a test case for whether a Trump favorite can survive a really eye-opening scandal. I’m thinking the environment is hoping not.

Wait, wait, wait. There’s an ethics official in the Trump administration?

Just the way that Trump supporters don’t care if he lies, rapes, destroys, and takes a dump on our Constitution…as long as he keeps sticking his finger in the eyes of Blacks, Latinos, Gays, and Liberals, they don’t care what else he does. So Trump could care less about Pruitt’s ethical violations. In fact Trump is probably impressed with what a “bad” dude Pruitt is. Trump wouldn’t even care if there were dozens of violations of the law. The only thing that matters to Trump is loyalty. Screw the law. Screw the Constitution. Screw the Congress. Trump is all that matters in the entire fricken universe…to Trump.

Republican’ts run on the platform of, “Government is broken!” Then they get elected and break it. Also, IOKIYAR…

The Times noted that OGE does not have power over Pruitt, but that the office could appeal to President Trump to impose some sort of discipline on the Cabinet secretary.
Yeah, good luck with that. He'll probably get a bonus.

Points for consistency.

Amen! But he’s in God’s party right? Anti-abortion and likes guns, except when he doesn’t.

Ok… this is where Pruitt is likely on thin ice with T-boy.

  1. His grifting draws attention to the administration’s grifting in general

  2. He’s getting tons of press (trumpus wants the spotlight)

  3. He’s showing signs of an ego that may soon be in competition with t-rumpus - on one of his moves he went around the WH (those sweatheart raises)

"May have violated President Donald Trump’s ethics pledge for administration officials?" That’s hilarious!!!

I promise to be very clever and quiet about all the grifting I plan to do.

I will give good press interviews.

I will never upstage The Donald.

It’s time to consider: when Pruitt goes, who comes in to take his place? Who’s in the wings? We need a leg up on examining their record…

The OGE official noted that Pruitt “apparently did not seek ethics advice prior to entering into the lease”

Yeah, because he knew it was shady.

“Trump White House Ethics Official”?

Is this a punch line? Or merely an oxymoron?

Should this official be protected as an “Endangered Species”?

In the doghouse for his travel spending, Pruitt is reduced to a car and one security person. Still he manages to swing a room at his lobbyist friend’s pig farm. He beds down in the room and sends the security guy to sleep in the pig sty. After a few minutes, the security comes back and says, “No way.” Pruitt says, “What’s the deal?” and marches out. Security guy is just about to nod off when there is a god awful noise outside. He opens the door to see 100 upset pigs. “No way we’re gonna sleep with that guy!”

I hope this guy has an up to date resume.

Apol wrote, “it is hard to imagine any action that could more effectively undermine an agency’s integrity than punishing or marginalizing employees who strive to ensure compliance with the laws and regulations that safeguard that integrity.”

This statement applies to the entire fucking federal government under T rump! He is out to destroy the infrastructure of our entire federal 3-branch system!

I would agree with you except he has no idea there are 3 separate branches of government, he doesn’t know anything at all about the balance of power and the constitution is meaningless to him - he doesn’t know it, understand it or the role it plays. If you don’t now how something is put together, it’s a damn sight harder to take it apart.
