GOP Einstein Pat Roberts (R - Diseased Rectum) just tried to compare the GOP bill and Obamacare to movies like “Thelma and Louise” and “Butch Cassidy”. He looked even more stupid and delusional than usual. It just makes my day knowing that all of the Republicans are just as stupid as he is (as can be seen from Thune, a man who is Louis Gohmert with nice cheekbones), and they can’t hide out at FoxNews with cheerleaders like the Morning GOP Oral Gratification Couch Brigade or Hannity and Carlson. This POS bill is TOO big and affects too many people to allow that. No, I give it 3 days before every Republican in the Senate and the House, when asked about the “healthcare” bill, will answer any questions with either the phrase “No comment” or “Gee, I REALLY have to go pee!”

Thune says that Medicaid expenditures would increase each year and Medicaid is not being cut. From Dean Heller of NV, “However, the Senate’s version makes steeper cuts to Medicaid overall in an attempt to appease conservatives unhappy with the longer transition period.”
And when Thune says that we have had seven years of Obamacare, that is entirely irrelevant to the fact that the republican bill has been written in secret with no input from anyone outside the coterie writing it, and will be offered for a vote within a week after it is revealed to the public before anyone has a chance to analyze it and before the CBO gets a chance to look at it. That is the definition of hurrying the bill.

The 55+ crowd mostly voted for Trump, so not really sympathetic to them. I will have more sympathy for their children that will be stuck with them when they get kicked out of the nursing home because medicaid cuts.

Keep the bill totally secret for weeks, then, an hour after releasing a draft, complain about how the other side has been misrepresenting what is in the bill. Now that’s chutzpah.

The ACA is not failing, though it is being sabotaged by you and your crew. And this scam “repeal and replace” bullshit bill is the very essence of rushed bullshit.
