Blue tsunami incoming. I’ll be happy to see the back of Coffman, a weasel for the ages.

Glad to see one Iowa seat on the list, wouldn’t it be nice to add King from Iowa to the list and then see all districts in Iowa be rep by D’s

I need the updated @khyber900 tracking report to see how this new info correlates with his predictions.

Wow! As a Coloradan living in formerly known as “Tancredo” country, this is the best news of a horribly dismal filled news week!!

Since TPM still hasn’t figured out how to do photo captions, I’ll have to ask you if that’s him in the photo at the top (or is it some other Republican weasel)?

Hoping to hear about the campaign support oxygen being cut off for wishy-washy Leonard Lance…

This must be what it feels like when a rescue boat comes and picks up most of the fleeing rats but leaves you behind on the sinking ship.

Is it bad that that image made me chuckle?

Good news! I’m pretty sure though that Mike Bishop’s district does not include any portion of Detroit. Looks like it starts in East Lansing and horseshoes up around Oakland to the north of Detroit.

Why that matters: https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/eight-mile-wall

His opponent, JD Scholten is within 6 points of King now and gaining.

Think Progress has a good piece on him.

+1. And best of all this is based on the internal polls by the campaigns (which are often quite good). They called voters who they have voter files on, and who they knew voted in the past, and did not like what they see.

And the other thing is how EARLY this is happening. A plug is pulled because (a) the candidate is behind, and (b) the views of voters they are tracking in polls are fixed. The candidates/outside groups also test themes, and have determined that pushing no buttons (taxes, ms-13, Nancy Pelosi, black crime, brown people) that can be done with ads will move the needle.

This is the best confirmatory evidence that the electorate’s views are set in stone, without a lot of undecided voters. Given that undecideds tend to vote for the “change” party (here the D’s) and against the current administration, and that the D’s have a lead of about 9% in the generic vote, this is very encouraging that a wave is coming.

Man, the night Chuck Schumer beat Alphonse D’Amato in the NY US Senate election, and the night David Dinkins beat Ed Koch in the NYC Mayoral Democratic Primary, were two of the happiest nights…I would like more people to experience that.

Or they could just come up with new ideas that actually work for the middle classes.

STFU WUT???

Whachu been drinking?

Crow be cray.

R’s don’t serve the middle class, which be on their way tout de suite to lower class. The rethug party are purely Diet-Koch lap dogs now.

Or maybe hamsterosity been overserved.
