Since Rubio (if nominated) would be likely to go down in Flames in the General, I am pleased with this development.

Do you think so? I think he’s dangerously slick. I can imagine him having the most crossover appeal of any of the candidates. And he’s very good at deflection and sincerely lying in his denials. Dangerous guy I think.

Yeah, read that last night. I think I read somewhere Singer had waited to see the last debate before this decision. An easy peasy decision it turned out.

Greg Sargent agrees with you. While I feel the way you do (“the most crossover appeal… he’s very good at deflection and sincerely lying in his denials”), and he has so far the best handled this batshitty primary race, I also think he’s utterly lightweight as well. Still not really sure what to decide about his candidacy.

Agreed. I think Rubio gives them the strongest chance now that Bush is going down in flames. Looks like Clinton vs Rubio to me. And Florida may decide it. Yikes.

And Rubio was quick thank Singer…and let him know that he could expect much, much…much more of the same throughout a ‘Rubio presidency.’

This is LOL funny.

According to those familiar with Singer’s physical workouts for political candidates, Rubio will submit to a number of demanding tests, in which the billionaire will bark commands and the senator will be measured for his reaction times and accuracy.

“I talked to a lot of other billionaires,” he told reporters. “Sheldon Adelson, and the Koch brothers, of course. But at the end of the day Mr. Singer’s scheme was the best fit. I’m looking forward to earning every dollar he paid for me.”

How about Clinton/Castro and Texas decides it?

And Florida may decide it.

Is there time to get Marvin Bush installed as governor of the Sunshine State?

Dangerous…to the Republican Party…for the same reason that Republicans are unaware of the impression he leaves on Latinos.

And he’s as crooked as a dog’s hind leg!

“In a field full of promise, but also of risk for the party, Senator Rubio is the strongest choice.”

"A field of promise?! Oh man, he’s on something.

I think it comes down to the message and the recipients.

The people who are being pandered to by Rubio have different priorities, circumstances, origins and feelings than the people (Latinos) among whom Rubio is inserted by G.O.P. analysts.

It seems like it will come down to Rubio vs Cruz. I would give Cruz the edge as he will probably get the Trump / Carson rubes. He also seems less brown than Rubio so that will go over better with the base.

My personal opinion is that if it came down to Clinton/Castro and Rubio/?, the Dems would win it. Why? Castro has much more appeal to a variety of Hispanic and Latino voters. Rubio’s main sell amongst Latinos is similar to what JEB’s were. Small.

However, having said that, I don’t think Texas will be in play for us this election year. 2020 is a different story.

…He can’t help it. It’s not his fault. He was born with a silver foot in his mouth.
