Maybe we do need a coup.
Barr, Trump and the other fascists laugh at your strong words. Action is all that matters, and we’re running out of time, if it’s not already too late.
Maybe.
Yeah, it’s not like there’s an “opposition party” which “controls half of the first branch of the government”, or anything. Let’s hold off of the idea of a violent revolution until they send out 3 or 4 more sternly worded letters about how they might threaten to subpoena the Mueller Report that don’t get a response.
Attorney General William Barr’s comment that he thinks “spying did occur” by intelligence agencies on the Trump campaign…
He said he had “no specific evidence” of spying to reference.
So here we have the country’s chief law enforcement officer admitting that he made up shit (with a weasel word of “thinks” to avoid directly lying to congress) for the sole purpose of getting a specific headline that directly benefits Trump.
Oh boy! Nadler’s gonna get mad enough to almost ask if it would be OK to send a subpoena. Countdown to a flurry of fundraising emails arriving in my inbox…
Given how perfect their projection is, doesn’t this suggest that they are spying on political enemies themselves?
Maybe we should be just a little bit bothered that a presidential campaign was so compromised by a foreign government that “adequately predicated” surveillance was necessary?
I’m not sure what the Dems are waiting for now. Why not subpoena some folks and grill 'em? I’d like to think there is some chess playing behind the scenes, but I’m afraid Democrats may be too worried about Chuck Todd accusing them of overreach.
I get the idea that Washington is like an old boys club, where everyone prominent -whether in law, politics, or media -either know each other or know of each other. As such, those people, even knowing about Barr’s past involvement in covering up Iran-Contra, still have to be shocked at how low he’s gone and at his lack of integrity and blasé attitude towards national security.
I find it bracing how Trump’s side is now regularly bringing up the world “treason”. They clearly know what they did and what the consequences would be if they were ever held accountable for it.

Confirm a bloated amoral hack, expect a bloated amoral hack.
“Up in Arms.”
Too bad they don’t control the House.
The Democrats play defense like the Washington Generals. You’ve got to put up enough of a fight to keep the audience buying tickets, but not lose sight of the fact that the Globetrotters have to win.
Looking forward to his investigation of how many people came to Trump’s inauguration.
I’d be astonished if they weren’t. It’d be entirely uncharacteristic to refrain from taking an advantage like that.
They were involved in the hacking, stealing, and publishing of DNC e-mails and publicly begged Russia for Hillary’s. Their treachery is in such plain sight, we sometimes don’t get nearly as upset as we should.
