Just a guess that this new post is a pay-off for something she knows or a claim she might have brought against the Trump administration. You don’t get perp-walked out of a Congressional-confirmed position and then get appointed to a new post a few months later unless there’s a major screw-up and/or cover-up somewhere.
So whatever she allegedly did or didn’t do there was no more room over in Trump 2020?
Of course, she’s highly qualified to serve in a high position in the GOP govt.
