Discussion: Top Advertiser To Stay With O'Reilly Amid Sexual Harassment Allegations

If I were a Fox shareholder, I’d be asking if they hold a specific contingency fund for paying off sexual harassment suits, and how much they’re planning to pay out in the next five years.

The company’s target audience is one that voted for a man who says he likes to grab women by the pussy. Why would they pull their advertising?

Of course Rosland Capital will stay with O’Reilly, they have been fleecing his viewers out of millions of dollars for years now. The would probably fold were it not for the money O’Reilly’s viewers send them.

What about the company that sells the freeze dried food in bulk so you can hunker down in your bunker in the end times.

And therein lies the problem: O’Reilly is the harasser, but Fox is enabling him and paying out the settlements.

If the companies boycotting O’Reilly actually want to change behavior at Fox, and make a real statement, then they need to pull their advertising from all of the shows on the Fox News Channel, not just the O’Reilly Rant Hour.

Comment reposted from a previous thread, because it’s still just as relevant.

It’s going to end up like Rush Limbaugh’s advertisers - apocalyptic gold sellers and assorted other scams.

Here’s what Beck ended up with:

No surprise here. Gold retailers and conservative media go together like rats and garbage.

Shorter Rosland Capital: Most of our customers are Rich, Old, Fat, Bigoted, Sexually starved White Men. WTF will we do anything to ruin our business? OReilly should do more of it. It helps us.

Scam artist gold retailer Rosland Capital that regularly lies to its customers is staying with a sexual predator who regularly lies to his audience.

Truly a marriage made in heaven.

You’d need to specify which end-times food supplier you mean. There’s even end-times food that comes in big buckets so you don’t need to worry about silverware.

@tiowally There’s no honor among thieves but there is respect between predatory assholes.

“Cash for Gold” assholes, personal injury lawyers and mesothelioma exploiters, used car lots – pretty soon, O’Reilly’s ad buyers will look like an average 12:30 p.m. half-hour of “Judge Judy.”

Since Trump is defended him as a “nice guy” it’s no shock that a gold company is a sponsor since its Trump’s favored color. Maybe his favorite candy Tic Tac will now be a sponsor.

To be fair, guys who secret gold bars in their bunker cots probably don’t really appreciate how a hostile work environment for women affects them.

I just hope Bill O doesn’t lose the good people at Copper Fit, whose ads star America’s favorite womanizer Brett Favre.

The criminal investigation currently underway in the Southern District of New York (formerly headed by Preet Bharara— Quelle coïncidence!) is centered on Ailes using Fox Entertainment Group (21st Century Fox) funds to pay for his and O’Reilly’s sexual harassment settlements and hiding the pay-offs from stockholders.

Fun Fact: Former Fox News CFO Mark Kranz has been offered immunity to testify before the grand jury. Being as he was unceremoniously fired along with Ailes, and he knows exactly where all the bodies are buried, the disgruntled Mr. Kranz’ testimony is bound to be a hoot.

I would think that O’Reilly’s audience selects for people who are highly suggestible. I guess that Rosland Capital is one of those businesses that thrives on exploiting the gullible and those who cannot protect themselves. They’re just about as honorable as drug dealers and pimps.

I think they come in buckets because they are stackable. Also can be used as a toilet.
