It was such a smooth first 100 days, after allâŚ

Health and Human Service Secretary Tom Price was optimistic that a Senate vote to affirm impeachment would be coming soon, telling Hugh Hewitt on Friday that he believed the âSenate will debate a House recommendation this summer,â with a vote to impeach before the August recess.
Change you can believe in!
These bozos donât even know what theyâre doing this afternoon.

âWeâre assisting and providing technical assistance, and responding to and trying to answer any questions that any of the United States senators may have who are interested in moving forward in a positive and productive way,â Price said on Hewittâs radio show, according to the transcript.
This is just repetitive blather that confirms that they have no idea when a bill will be crafted in the Senate (pretty much from scratch) and then be sent back to the House for review.

Is it just me or does Tom Price not look like the smarmiest MFer in history? Or maybe I think he looks like the smarmiest MFer in history because he IS the smarmiest MFer in history.
If so, then being gay becomes a pre-existing condition and automatically relegated to the high risk pool.

Iâm pretty sure none of those Senators like working in the summer, much less working that hard.
I cannot imagine any new laws will kick in before the 2018 mid-terms.

Donât underestimate Republican screwing over the American people to give billionaires their tax cuts.
Obamacare repeal faces the same constraints in the Senate as it did in the house. Except the the Senators whole state districts are less gerrymandered, so they have an electoral interest in not tilting as far right as the House.
Now Trump/Preibus et al could still twist some arms and persuade/blackmail supposedly moderate Republicans into caving to the Kill The Poor caucus. It will be tougher than in the House, and perhaps even tougher after seeing the Comey disaster. Still not iimpossible.
(And Republican Chief Moderate Susan Collins was sounding awfully teaplorable on PBS the other night)
