Compare and Contrast Exercise #1:
… the Trump administration is making U.S. citizens pay “full fare” to be evacuated from hurricane-ravaged Caribbean islands.
What’s worse, the U.S. government… will hold the evacuees’ passports as collateral until it gets its money.
“Anyone evacuated on U.S.-government coordinated transport, including charter and military flights, must sign an Evacuee Manifest and Promissory Note … note prior to departure.”
“The promissory note obligates an evacuated person to repay the cost of the transportation to the U.S. government.”
The cost of the “promissory loan” is based on “the price of the last commercial one-way, full-fare (not discounted) economy ticket prior to the crisis.” In other words, the loan isn’t based on the discounted economy fare that many visitors probably found online to get to some of the islands.

Their political capital was drain the swamp! However it’s more like drain the taxpayer coffers. And Donald Trump has no room to talk he is spent and profited from taxpayer dollars up into the millions. God only knows what he and his family have really spent . And I wouldn’t doubt for one minute that it’s going to be harder in the future to track these people and their exorbitant spending of taxpayer dollars to fix it so that the public won’t see it.

The secretary would not answer reporters’ questions about whether he regrets using private jets or whether he plans to reimburse taxpayers for the cost of the trips, according to Politico.
Of course not! The American people are accountable to him, not the other way around! He has no public responsibilities at all. Where do American tax payers get off telling him how not to spend tax payer money?!

I think Mr. price should pay the tax payers back for all the money that he’s wasted I need seriously he’s worth millions if not billions you can afford to do that I think.
And while we might not know exactly whose fault the Healthcare failure was, we certainly know whose fault it wasn’t.

There has to be more to this. Price flew out of the same airport as commercial flights, sometimes at the same time. He wouldn’t have had to stand in a TSA line. Did he have company (like corporate execs) on these unscheduled flights? Is he alcoholic and needs to hide his behavior? Were there women other than his wife along? There’s an undisclosed reason he was continuing to do something so clearly over the line even after it was first discovered. Or are we not yet learning that it’s common practice in this admin?
