Discussion: Tom Cotton: Joe Biden Has Been Wrong About Everything For 40 Years

It should but this administration doesn’t have the balls. Sometimes I wonder what the fuck Obama’s thinking. Appearing above the fray just doesn’t work in politics, at least with this current crop of assholes. I would charge all 47. It’s not starting a “dangerous precedent.” Republicans have already done so: attempt to impeach Clinton over a blowjob, censure or impeach Obama for whatever their cause du jour.

The word “dilettante” comes to mind when considering Sen. Cotton; but that would be an insult to amateurs everywhere. Instead, I think I’ll refer to him simply as Sen. Cottonmouth. It fits somehow–the personality of a pit-viper.

And so Morning Joke has doubled down on giving aid and comfort to traitors, and a platform from which to spew their propaganda.

And some say we’re the ones “hating on” Mika, one so proudly and defiantly following in the footsteps of Alan Colmes and Bob Beckel, for lending this warmongering traitor-supporting right-wing-apologist-managed Comcast-owned propaganda outlet so-called “credibility” in the same way Fox News claims to be “fair and balanced.”

Maybe it’s not hate at all. Maybe it’s because we recognize that this crew of plagiarists, Presidential dick callers, Third Way neoliberal DLC corporate toadies, bobbleheaded elitist whiners, and people with a dead intern found in their office are administering a three hour anti-American mind fuck to the resolutely misinformed cretins who tune in every day for anything more substantive than the morning joke. Could that be it?

Oh oh — time to tune in for my daily dose of Koch Industries commercials.

“I want complete nuclear disarmament.” Yeah? Well, so do I. You and your moronic, GOP brethren keep stamping your little feet like 5 year-olds and see how far you get. Idiots!

When will John Boehner get in control of these idiots.

That thing where you realize that Iranian leaders understand and respect the U.S. Constitution more than 47 Republican Senators do.

Cotton has been taking megalomaniac lessons from netanyahu.

I remember when Republicans actually held some respect for our American institutions. When Reagan tried to sabotage negotiations with Iran, he at least had the dignity to try and cover it up.

I didn’t know that Topher Grace had left acting for politics.

" he called for complete nuclear disarmament by Iran."

I think that plan may need to be fleshed out a little.

They should be, but to do so might lead to rebellion. Do we really want to see millions die over this stunt? Never under estimate the hatred red state America has for the rest of the country.

Yes. The delicate feelings of some were offended by the reaction to the “interview” with Mika from folks on the main site, and retired to the more polite confines of The Hive to express their annoyance with the rabble-rousing unwashed public on the main site. Too funny for words.

Why do people keep voting for airheads like this who learned everything they know about life, the universe, and politics from one very long Ayn Rand novel? Oh, because so incredibly many of them are airheads who, etc.

Geez, 40 years ago, Tom Cotton was doing a mediocre job of learning how to wipe his ass . . . and his mom apparently did a poor job of teaching him because he smells like shit, even over the television.

I thought Scott Walker looked like he had the IQ of a barely sentient being. This guy looks like he doesn’t even come close.

When Cotton's interviewers asked him for an alternative approach to the Obama administration's negotiation, he called for “complete nuclear disarmament by Iran.”

Clearly Senator JackassCotton has never read the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty of which both Iran and the US are members.

Article IV

  1. Nothing in this Treaty shall be interpreted as affecting the inalienable right of all the Parties to the Treaty to develop research, production and use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes without discrimination and in conformity with Articles I and II of this Treaty.
  1. All the Parties to the Treaty undertake to facilitate, and have the right to participate in, the fullest possible exchange of equipment, materials and scientific and technological information for the peaceful uses of nuclear energy. Parties to the Treaty in a position to do so shall also co-operate in contributing alone or together with other States or international organizations to the further development of the applications of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, especially in the territories of non-nuclear-weapon States Party to the Treaty, with due consideration for the needs of the developing areas of the world.

Not only is Senator IgnoramusCotton interfering with and undermining the President’s constitutionally granted authority to negotiate treaties, but he is also advocating the unilateral abrogation of treaties already in effect, which are, of course, according to the Supremacy Clause of Article VI the supreme law of the land.

And then Senator DoltCotton has the chutzpah to claim that ‘Iran’s leaders “don’t understand our Constitution.”’

Senator BlockheadCotton needs

  • A snap course in constitutional law
  • A snap course in international law
  • A sharp kick in the keester

Not necessarily in that order.
