Who writes a bad check for marketing materials (and then, I assume, fails to make it good)? What was the business/scam he was pushing?
Why don’t you take a seat over there?
I’ve never understood writing bad checks. You literally put your name on the document that constitutes the crime.
Where was the camera crew?
Every checking account I ever had had overdraft protection.
What the hell did he do?
Now he’ll know what it’s like to to be ridiculed and vilified and shamed for human weakness.
And this wasn’t even entrapment.
Maybe his checks listed him as Donald R. DeCicco.
Couldn’t happen to a nicer vulture.
Never heard of the guy or the show???
Who buys 355 mugs, 288 T-shirts and 650 vinyl decals?
Somebody whose TV career has dried up, and who’s pitching some new venture.
Is writing bad checks a felony? Will this guy do time?
In Connecticut, if it’s over $1,000, it’s a Class D Felony that can get you 1-5 as a guest of the State, and up to $5,000 in fines.
Will he actually do time? Who can say?

But geez, how badly has he mismanaged his financial affairs that he couldn’t cover a $13k check? I’ve never had a TV series and have never won any awards, but I could cover that check by tomorrow morning.
This feels like none of my business…
I watched TCAP a couple times and came to the conclusion that the host as well as the entrapped were kind of lowlifes. Similar to the show “Cheaters” (but I could stomach that show more easily since usually the entrapped were consenting adults).
Making money off child-predator-merch??? It’s the American way!
Seems like about ten times too much for the merch.
Uh…you sure that’s how you want to spin this?
