An underage girl trafficked for sex who kills the john should get a public service award for cleaning scum off the streets, not a prison sentence.
I just saw a film on human trafficking today. Given the times we are in, something tells me that, politically, this will become even more prominent as an issue.
I must say, “cleaning scum off the streets” simultaneously makes me think of bad 80s action movies and the Reagan-era mentality that led to the kind of draconian sentencing guidelines that created this situation in the first place.
