But⌠but⌠Obama!
As long as weâre gonna fetishize the so-called âmiddle ground,â we might as well capitalize off it.
I canât imagine being undecided at this point, so I have no idea what goes on in those peopleâs heads, but maybe this is what they want to hear?
Senator Landrieu is Louisiana thru and thru. She personifies the laissez faire of the people of Louisiana. Republicans are always yelling about letting the free market drive the economy. Well Mary has done this her whole life for Louisiana. I donât think that Sullivan has enough knowledge to understand the free market economy of the oil industry in Louisiana like Senator Landrieu does. If Louisiana is smart they wonât discard Senator Landrieu for someone who just spouts anti anything President Obama without any new ideas of their own.
Unfortunately, Louisiana seems to be in a race to the bottom. They seem hell bent on becoming âŚwell, whateverâs worth than a Third World countryâŚa post apocalyptic wasteland?
âThe Republican opposition is trying to make this a partisan race and falsely paint Sen. Landrieu as a liberal Democrat. She isnât,â the editorial board wrote. âShe occupies the middle ground in Congress.â
Middle ground is as far-left as a Democrat can dare in Louisiana. And having a female Democratic Senator from Louisiana is vital, not only to her constituents, but to the nation as a whole. Come on LA Democrats, get to the polls this year and vote for Mary Landrieu and other Democrats! You can do it!
But how much will the KochBoys pay for each of their votes for Kassidy?
Iâm not sure that the residents of New Orleans are who she has to win over. I wonder if this newspaper carries weight in the rest of the state?
Tejas?
I delight in every ideologically bankrupt campaign dollar wasted by the greedy ⌠whether it be the Kochs, Friess, Adelson, or the Rove coalition.
Louisiana dems can chalk up another one ⌠GO VOTE!
Last time I dined at Galatoireâs in the French Quarter it seemed to be above a âpost apocalyptic wasteland.â I get the point however over stated it may be.
It doesnât surprise me that most of these comments are for Mary. Most of you are for Obama also and that is pretty sickening.
Why?
If the Koch brothers really knew what was good for them, theyâd stay away from this one. Landrieu is very much a friend to oil companies doing business in Louisiana.
How could they possibly be jealous of Mississippi?
Iâm betting the beer pong was the decider here.
Whilst the Times-Picayune was doing the endorsing of Landrieu they shouldâve also made the case against the Republican madness. Itâs not like there are two good choices and she is the best of the two, no, there is a way above decent choice and a batshit crazy choice.
The ânewspaperâ couldâve pointed that out.
If the media can hound senate candidates Grimes and Nunn if they voted for Obama how come the LA Times-Picayune never asks the Republican candidates Jindel, Vitter and Landrieuâs opponents if they voted for Klanner David Duke during his heyday back in the early 90âs. Or Family Research chair Tony Perkins who actually bought his mailing list.
Seconded
Lawdy lawdy. I wuz gune vote fer her, but she was there done twerkin with some of them there spooks.
