Discussion: Tim Tebow: No, I'm Not Speaking At The Republican Convention

So does the Trump campaign deny they ever planned to have Tebow speak, or do they just call him a loser?

This! THIS!! The media is playing some sick game here by not reporting what is really going on with Trump. I watched his speech in Indiana in full and was shocked not to see any follow-up in the press about it. The man is a crazy, uneducated lunatic and if he was standing on a street corner, he’d be escorted to the nearest hospital for observation. The perception that people have of him (“he says what I’m thinking”) isn’t even true! He’s not even saying anything in these speeches. It’s simply one long stream of pathetic, incomprehensible gibberish. But you’ll never see any report on that in the news. Why?!?

Tebow threw all those passes into the ground to hit Satan.

Tebow: “I told Jesus how sad I was and he told me to start Manning up! ~whaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!~”

OH, trumpet can’t get the genuflecting, by-bul thumping sports guy? That’s too bad!

The playbook of lies

Good question since it is Librul Media we are talking about here

2 National Championships, Heisman Trophy winner…first sophomore to ever win that award, holds the SEC record for passing efficiency and rushing touchdowns (not just for quarterbacks…for everybody). Best quarterback to EVER play at University of Florida.

As a pro, he turned around a crappy Denver Bronco team and got them into the playoffs, for which he was summarily traded away to the Jets as an award, who refused to give him any meaningful playing time.

The pros never gave Tebow a real shot, because pro football is far too conservative to consider changing up their offenses (for a number of reasons) to suit someone like Tebow. Basically, if you aren’t like every other quarterback in the league, the league has no use for you. Sure, he has an awkward looking throwing motion and can run over linebackers in ways that make fullbacks blush…but when given the opportunity, Tebow wins.

Personally, the biggest problem I think that Tebow had in the pros is…he simply cannot stop talking about his religion. And that becomes a big problem in locker rooms, one that coaches and players just don’t want to deal with.

I would argue that he is not uneducated. He has, however, been educated well beyond his intelligence. Indeed, he’s the living embodiment of the phrase “You can’t fix stupid.”

Is this guy still a thing? He had his 15 minutes of fame, and for one thing only as I recall. He had his false piety on display for public consumption, like a bad commercial…He certainly wasn’t made famous because he was such a great football player. Now just go away already.

Though it is easy to see from that time the double standard in sports since he displayed that kneeling and praying stunt on the field. White guy in sports prays on the gridiron to great praise by the media while Black guy wears BLM t-shirt in sports and gets skewered or questioned on the judgement behind doing so.

I must be missing something here, but I don’t think he denied that be was going to speak at the convention. Saying that it’s a rumor is not the same as saying it is untrue.

Tebow ljust like Sarah Palin, do not speak for free they like to be paid, and the RNC is very short of funds as Wall Street refused to sponsor them. Tebow makes a living out speaking, he is not going to do it pro-bono. He like Palin are parasites living of the wingnut movement.

If HRC did this or anything remotely similar the Republicans would demand a public lynching. They aren’t too far from that now.

Peyton Manning never got a Heisman, never won a National Championship, and lost every single game he played against the Florida Gators.

Tebow also holds the SEC record in passing efficiency, completion percentage and TD/Int ratios. Yes…that’s right, Tim Tebow holds those records, not Peyton Manning.

Tebow also never got sued for sexually harassing a trainer…a claim Manning cannot make.

You raise a very important question-- Why is none of this being picked up in the press? I’d like to know the same thing, and perhaps TPM could explore. But, at the end of the day, it is up to the Clinton campaign to get this problem fixed. Politics ain’t beanbag. Politics is combat. Clinton needs Carville.

There are many QB that were good at college but are not good enough for the Pros, because the NFL is tougher and they are not good enough. Some Heisman winners that didn’t make it to the pros Chris Weinke, Danny Wuerffel, Gino Torretta where also succesful QB in college and just didn’t cut it with the Pros, Jason White heisman trophy and all never even got a contract.

The only reason we remember Tim Tebow was because he was an exhibitionist that wore his BS on the sleeve.
