You could also say this about religion. One of my fears is that some state, let’s say for the sake of argument, Mississippi decides to write a law to allow residents the ability to not serve or provide services to certain folks because it goes against their religious beliefs. And then wham bam thank you mam with have apartheid at the state level, and separate does not mean equal, but by God and the State’s legislator’s want it that way.

He campaigns on an “America First” theme — yet about the only American-made thing I could find in my hotel room was the small package of milk-chocolate Trump gold bullion ($25).
…In my room, I found a Trump logo bathmat and towels from India, bone china from Japan, Italian cutlery and tiles, two telephones from Malaysia, a Swiss refrigerator, German coffee cups, Trump soaps and lotions from Canada and, from China, all four lamps, the coffee machine, the bathroom scale, the valet stand and the shower cap. The hotel’s managing director is from France. Most hotel workers I met during my stay had Caribbean or African accents.

If you’re in a bubble I am too since I live in looney liberal latte drinking San Francisco of which the late Paul Kantner of Jefferson Airplane once said “San Francisco is 49 square miles surrounded by reality.” Our governor seems to be the one keeping the balloon inflated and so will incoming Senator Kamala Harris.

I agree. Unfortunately, I think that one really is a case of both sides do it. Obviously from my perspective, I agree with the people on the left more, but I think humans in general have a very tribal team oriented nature. People look for excuses to take a side and argue.
Mac vs. Windows: Really? Still? Seems like they both work pretty well to me.

Any sports team vs. any sports team: This one is a real doozy. I have never understood why so many people base so much of their happiness and identity around the performance of a handful of young people who have absolutely zero practical relationship to, or effect on life. I mean, I guess you could say the same about music which is dear to me and has had a profound impact on my life, but…
