I love when the truth escapes by accident. You only need to prove something like “Not distracted” to a boss, otherwise who are they to judge and why would you give a shit? I know I dont give ashit what anyone thinks about anything now I am retired, as I am in the same age range as Trump and also from working class background like he is I am fairly certain he would feel same way.

Just because we see some being incompetent, doesn’t mean they all suck at being evil. I would say that Steve Bannon definitely does not suck at being evil. Not sure yet about Miller, he may be skilled as well. Michael Cohen has had a successful career as a thug. DeVos and Pruitt show little sign of sabotaging themselves. And Ryan Zinke is likely to walk away without a scratch after inflicting irreparable harm on our national resources.
Sounds like sanctions do not allow for the Exxon/Rosneft deal in arctic to go forward. Seems like this might be the “root of the deal” that Trump/Putin are working on – lift sanctions some how, some way.

Contrary to the constant lament in some quarters, the Dems have a pretty great “bench” – Lieu, Schiff, Franken, Murphy, Harris, Schatz, Whitehouse, and more. One happy aspect of the past few months’ awfulness has been all the face (or “face”) time so many House and Senate Dems have been getting, on cable and social media. Next time you hear anyone concern-trolling about how there’s nobody but Warren and Bernie, just tell them to stuff it.

According to Gallup, there’s a certain part of the population who’s cool with either.
The major problem with this ‘box out’ is that the press corps as a whole is essentially ‘Midas’s barber’ now. Tillie, Trump, etc are thinking (hedging) that if they can block those who as they see as enemies from the flow, then they would find it profitable to give Trump love.
