Do not be surprised if what Donald shared is his “concern” about “fake news.” Putin has a solution for that, too.

Trump: Vlad, did you mess with our election?
Vlad: Who, me? Is being nice guy. Would never do such thing.
Trump. Well, I’m sorry if I hurt your feelings, You’ve said nice things about me and I like you, but you know, I had to ask.
Vlad: Is hokay, Donny, When you come Russia, we go horse riding and fight bear together.

Trump Raised Concern About Election Meddling In Putin Meeting

Trump is channeling Susan Collins?

Tillerson says he thinks the president “is rightly focused on how do we move forward from something that may be an intractable disagreement at this point.”

We had an “intractable disagreement” with the Japanese, too, after they bombed Pearl Harbor. The way to “move forward” is to make the other side pay for attacking us.

Please paraphrase what was said Rex, because I’m quite confident Trump started to say something about how he won the election then was interrupted by you to remind him about Russian meddling where Trump probably said “oh yeah, that too” before talking about the imaginary crowds at his inaugural.

As always with Trump, lets see if he will actually do anything about this attack, the clock is still ticking.

“The attendees at the meeting were the mastermind behind the Russian hack (Putin), his right hand man in the US (Lavrov), the former head of Exxon who is a Putin pal (Tillerson), and the president who is under federal and congressional investigation for potentially colluding with Russia to win the presidential election (Trump).”

I’m sure you’d love to see us move on from the Russia thing, Tillerson. You and the rest of the administration who would not have jobs but for Vladimir Putin. You’re welcome to move on yourself but there is a Special Counsel who was appointed to investigate this thing you want us to move on from and I don’t think he’s going to take that advice. I know I don’t give a shit what you or Trump wants or Putin. Right now I’d happily drop a nuke right on Moscow.

Trump had Tillerson bring up the election meddling so he could get the press off his back and now will be able to “move on.” What is giving me more to think about is an analysis I just heard from Richard Engel on MNBC. He said the fact that it was a two-hour meeting means nothing more than Putin planned on that (i.e. Trump wouldn’t have been so articulate or prepared that Putin would have changed his agenda.). Engel said that Putin has been waiting for a major world leader to engage with him in this way and that they may have been sort of “dividing up” issues, responsibilities, etc. in a way that would be extremely unhealthy. (Also, we are not going to be allowed to see a video of any part of the meeting.)

Look, This is de rigueur. Tilly had to say this as political cover. The statement has no operational value as there is no context, and likely never will be. The problem with these guys is that even though they lie and bullshit at will, they still expect everyone to take their words at face value. Well, we don’t.

Okey dokey! Glad to see that’s all resolved.

Time to move along.

Russia: Trump agrees with Putin and thinks election hacking claims are 'exaggerated’

I read that Putin brought it up first. Trump actually said he believed Putin over 17 US intelligence agencies. Trump believed a man who has a reputation of lying as much as Trump.

Yes, the concern that Putin won’t help him in 2020.
