It sounds like Hammond was trying to be helpful. The problem is when you’re part of a criminal clown operation like the Trump Admin, it’s hard to praise anything without stabbing someone else in the back. With Trump, you can’t say that things are improving because that’s an admission that everything wasn’t perfect from the start. It’s bullshit all the way down and even a whiff of reality is enough to topple the whole thing.
I was certainly surprised by Hammond’s on the record candor re Haley. And the revelation that her role was being questioned.
I expect he’ll soon be spending more time with his family.

Are you kidding? They charter a private bus at taxpayer expense, renting it for a week of travel with their spouses that happens to include running over any staffers who accidentally said truth in public. And if one isn’t available, they use a military bus that gets them special access to Area 51, backstage passes to USO events, and three free trips to swim in the coin vault at Fort Knox. It’s awesome. Everyone wants to be on board when Trump runs over his own people. When Trump runs you down, you stay down.
