Coupla thoughts. First, freedom (of speech) is not free.
Second, the best way to protest this creep would be to give him the silent treatment. Line up, with signs, outside the building where he’ll be, but remain silent. Let him and his pitiable supporters yell and scream, but remain silent the whole time. (No, I don’t have any hope of that happening. There will not be enough discipline for one thing. And then there are the crazies on the left who are no more dedicated to liberty and free speech than the Nazis.)

There has to be a better way to humiliate Spencer instead of confront him. What the Univ. and students have proposed by having virtual assembly, but then one way to challenge him and is movement is to get a ticket, go to the event, and then let him talk. But while he is talking then protesters get up in ones or two and quietly walk out. Spencer wants the drama, needs an audience and since the media will be covering it what’s a better show than showing him lose his audience. Messaging can be subtle and effective.
Why should others be forced to pick up the tab for this guy’s security?
