Sounds like Republicans are not as enamored with the “deep, deep bench” of candidates they have been handed. Thanks to Donald Trump the mask has slipped off the rancid face of the GOP. Go, Donald, Go.

Won’t change a thing. Come election time, it’ll be same shit, different day.

Meh. It bounces around a lot. I’ll celebrate when the White House is retained by (Bernie Sanders), the House becomes majority liberal Democrats, the Senate has a filibuster-proof Democratic majority, and SCOTUS has at least 5 sane jurists as justices. Boy, will I celebrate.

I can dream, can’t I?

No surprise there. Just compare the GOP guys calling each other stupid, stiffs, losers and asses with how the President answers his critics in a statesmanlike way. If the racists in that Party were not so blinded by their hatred of Obama, The GOP favorability would be in the toilet by now.

Hopefully if more Americans become more aware of the GOP agenda they will favor them less and less and definitely not favor their party with the Crown Jewell, the White House.

I like your dream, and in a real democracy, this would be the case! Without the Citizens United decision and the gerrymandering of this nation, this would be the case. As Bernie Sanders and Ed Schultz and Thom Hartmann have been telling us for a long time now, we are an oligarchy and the man with the most money has been winning the game. We have the greatest income disparage since 1930!

Somebody’s going to have to explain something to me that I have wondered about for years. Public approval ratings favor Dems 48 to 32 percent. Policy approvals always heavily rate Dems over Repubs. yet when it comes to who can best manage government, Dems went from 2 to 1 percent.
What is it I am missing about Americans? They want crappy government? Is that it? That’s what I get from it. Completely unsurprising, since that’s what they’ve had the last generation and more, whether that’s how they voted or not.

What?

Yeah, and then you’ll wake up. I’ve had that same dream, and then woke up in America.

We have been living the GOP agenda for 35 years. Ain’t it great. But just wait. As Reagan said, you ain’t seen nothing yet. If a goper wins the presidency, you’ll see it.

Hello Niner.

Hey Mr. Niner, Bernie Sanders running against Donad Trump would be pure GOLD, just PURE GOLD!

Geography is a big issue here. OK, more people favor Democrats than Republicans, but these folks are heavily concentrated in big cities. San Francisco runs about 84% Democratic and a good fraction of the remainder is Green. Republicans have a far more auspicious distribution of voters.
