Ahh, the magic of twitter. Never has there been an easier way to relieve oneâs bowels in front of the whole world. Think Tank? I think not. Damn those interns. At least their account wasnât âhacked.â
OMG, before this has the word âsuckâ ever been uttered on K Street in all recorded history?
I donât think that calling this Tweet an âerrorâ quite does it. An error is a typo, or inadvertently forwarding to the wrong party or using an incorrect hashtag.
When will people learn???
So the only problem for CSIS is that their public image was besmirched, not that theyâre employing someone who likes to be foulmouthed and stupid in public.
I see what they look for in their interns at this âbipartisanâ think tank.
Just glad to hear that Joe Lieberman was able to find some work. Hope they donât fire him over this.
Interns are now ablative shields.
WishY waSHy librual APologies. Suck It!!1!!one!11!1
If THey saiD it was AN error IT was AN Error. It sAYs so ON the INternet so IT mUSt be TRue. So SUck it!!!1!!1!one!!!1!!!
INterNS are THE caUSE of ALL of the ILLs THAT befall US cONServatives. WhaTâs YOUr excuse LIBtard? Suck IT!1!1!!1!1!!1one!!1!1!!!
I wORK on K strEET and I donât use that word. So SUCK it!!!1!!!one!!!1!1!!!
These sorts of accidents and mistakes are happening more and more. Were I responsible for some reputable organizationâs official Twitter feed, it would make me wonder whether itâs really worth the risk and effort.
Listing: America First Think Tank seeks young individual with Twitter experience to monitor our Twitter feed. Must promise not to confuse corporate account with own personal account.
Maybe not THIS contextâŚ
I am so sick and tired of the âblame the internâ excuse. These kinds of gaffes happen so often that, in order for the âintern excuseâ to be believable, interns would have to be running these organizations.
It would be more admirable if they just admitted they said it and not try to pass it off on an alleged intern.
But, letâs look at who runs this joint: Sam Nunn (conservative former Senator from Georgia); itâs Board includes: Henry Kissinger, Zbigniew Brzezinski, William Cohen, George Argyros and Brent Scowcroft. Not exactly a group who are known for their support of civil liberties. Rather, they are a group of hawks. Hawks, who with their âsuck itâ tweet are trying desperately to avoid having people look at their human rights record.
Ah, the wonders of modern technology. Twitter provides a way for people to record their stupidity for the ages.
Thatâs what interns are for. You pay them nothing and blame them for everything. Nice job, for someone with more ambition than brains.
âCSIS, a BIPARTISAN Washington-based think tankâ
Bipartisan?
SoâŚyou really think whoever runs a groupâs Twitter account is the one who runs the company?? That seems highly doubtful.
Honestly, why does anyone doubt the intern story, when thatâs most likely the culprit? Now, maybe this intern was only supposed to monitor the account and was confused like they said, or maybe the intern is the one who is supposed to run the account and honestly thought this would be a good tweet. But in no case did anyone who ran this org think âsuck itâ would be a good tweet for them to make. Thatâs just ridiculous, if only because people who run these orgs donât do real work like post to Twitter. Thatâs what unpaid interns are for.
