Tester pulling ahead is nice news. Makes AZ hurt even more though.
In NJ 3, Tom MacArthur – the man who revived Obamacare repeal in the House last year after the first try went down in flames – leads Andy Kim by about 2,500 votes, but there may be enough votes outstanding to flip the outcome. Notably, MacArthur has not claimed victory.
Governors’ mansions flipped in both directions? Show us any Dem held seat that went to the Republicans.
You forgot Mississippi, it Senate seat is going to have a run-off.
NM 2, a heavily ranching/oil patch district more like west Texas than NM, still undecided, R is up 1900 votes with 8000 prov. & absentee ballots left to count. Dem. Xochitl Torres Small refuses to concede until all are counted.
If she wins, NM is true blue, all congresscritters, all statewide offices are D (including the 2nd-ever US Latino woman Gov. and one of two first-ever Native American women going to Congress), expanded D majorities in both houses here.
I don’t know if Stacy Abrams can pick up 15K votes. But I’m certain Kemp won’t ever let her find out.
That’s the race I wanted to know about - I’m so glad you posted that. I’m glad Xochitl hasn’t conceded. I really like her - I spend half the year in Taos and saw her ads all summer and I fell for her.
Montana’s Jon Tester Beats Back the Trump Cavalry to Win Another Term
Well you’ll be glad to know the Sec. of State just declared Torres the winner with 50.7%. Done and done, we’re true blue, thru and thru.
most recent update … but likely not the last
… hope this margin stays solid - or grows - at this point with approximately 99% of the votes counted - it may be difficult for MacArthur to find a way to close this gap
