Will the Achieving Prosperity segment have Trump showing us how he balances his account books?
Yes they are topics and the questions that should be interesting.
Holt has already made Trump ‘cry’ before.
Now the questions should be interesting,but the overall question for me is why
This debate is rigged. They chose the only three topics about which Trump is only passingly familiar.
What about: When did you realize that the President is a US Citizen? Are you planning to apologize to the American people for this conspiracy theory that your perpetuated unabated for 5 years? Do you have your tax statements with you tonight and ready to hand over?
“Achieving Prosperity,” “Securing America” implies that we are not prosperous or secure.
Better, more titillating, debate topics that MSM should be salivating over.

- Donnie’s multiple bankruptcies

- etc. etc.
These aren’t topics. Clearly Hillary’s going to have to do all the moderating.
I’m with you. These are VERY general areas (I realize we won’t get specific questions ahead of time.) that would seem to allow Trump to pontificate in a way that works to his advantage. He can keep repeating “We aren’t winning enough” for #1, “We can make more money and jobs” for #2, and “I know how to keep you safe” for #3.
In 2012, the (sole) topic of the first debate was “Domestic Policy”. The third debate was “Foreign Policy.” Those sound a lot more debate-worthy, with sufficient time to provide details.
This time, take a drink every time Lester Holt has to say “as quickly as you can…”

Achieving Prosperity
Clinton: Email server, Benghazi and Mexican invasion/Muslim refugees, why did she create ISIS?
Trump: His amazing job creation history, brilliant tax cut plans, his unique and innovative maternity lease ideas and deep experience “getting things done”.
Securing America.
Clinton: Email server, Benghazi and Mexican invasion/Muslim refugees, why did she create ISIS?
Trump: Big beautiful wall, his big-hearted immigration reform plans and his national security genius.

Achieving Prosperity?? I thought that’s what the $37,000 Trump University course taught.
Which is as much as to say they’ll talk about some stuff. Trump can easily fit his idiocy into those categories, if that’s what they are.
Fascism 2.0: Once was merger of state and corporations. Now it’s menage a trois – state, corporations, compliant media.
And this is NBC, so they will still end up issuing him an apology afterwards when he complains that it was “rigged” and “totally unfair.” As it is, he’s already saying that and NBC’s execs are having trouble not pre-apologizing.

Are you suggesting that it is “rigged” because of Trump’s lack of familiarity with the subject? Does that not make Trump de-facto unqualified?
