Remember when Hastert got the Speakership because Tom Delay had to resign for being a crook, and Bob Livingston declined after he was discovered to be a hound dog? Hastert was supposed to be the squeaky clean guy, evangelical, long marriage, etc. Oops - scratch a Republican, find a criminal.
