There doesn’t seem to be mention/speculation that the recent legal victory would compel the commission to share information with Dunlap, which was so damning, that it would be better to shut-down than to let it out into the public realm.

As someone who staffed several commissions in my day, that’s a pretty damn funny remark, and one that has to really hurt, coming from a commissioner. It was obvious this commission “staff” were like Keystone Kops, running around bonking each other on the head and pulling the chairs out from under people. Good staff can make even a weak commission look ok, if not great.
This is a ploy to avoid transparency, but they’re not giving up. I wonder what they’ve got cooking at DHS?
