wish I had a buck for every ally and friend Trump has stabbed in the back. And still there are folks who will climb on board the Trump train, thinking that it won’t be them who gets thrown under the wheels.

The outlet reported that Dunlap said he’d learned of the news “the same way reporters did: via a news release.”

Just like Comey. Dear Leader doesn’t have the stones to fire anybody to their face. No courage. Sad!

“As Americans, you need identification, sometimes in a very strong and accurate form, for almost everything you do…except when it comes to the most important thing, VOTING for the people that run your country.”

Curious if Orange Dummy could apply that logic to a sensible firearms background check…??

GOP: (crickets chirping)

Gun Lobby: Hell no!

tRUMP: Didn’t understand the question.

"King, a Democrat, compared the commission’s work to a “wild goose chase” and said “I think it’s an urban legend that there’s widespread voter fraud in the U.S.”

Bingo. Easier (and less damning) to dismantle the whole thing and start over than to single out the naysayers and fire them.

Anyone who thought he would run the government like he ran his businesses was 100 percent correct. Chaotically, impulsively, habitually disastrously and fueled by crime at the heart of it. Nice work, voters. Really nice work there.

There doesn’t seem to be mention/speculation that the recent legal victory would compel the commission to share information with Dunlap, which was so damning, that it would be better to shut-down than to let it out into the public realm.

Apparently Trump now supports a National ID? Sounds good to me.

And poor KKKris KKKobach. He’s not going to have to go get an actual job now, is he?

Kobach’s from Kansas, hence rural legend.

Dunlap is a headbusting baller. Mayor of Munchkinland just kicked some seriously evil ass.

Continuing the analogy, now that he signed the 1% Relief Act how long before his latest company files for bankruptcy.

Think about it: Disbanding this commission is the very first time Donald Trump has done anything to drain the swamp. MAGA!

“Throughout my career I have been involved in civic groups, church groups, high school groups, that were run better than this commission." As someone who staffed several commissions in my day, that’s a pretty damn funny remark, and one that has to really hurt, coming from a commissioner. It was obvious this commission “staff” were like Keystone Kops, running around bonking each other on the head and pulling the chairs out from under people. Good staff can make even a weak commission look ok, if not great.

This is a ploy to avoid transparency, but they’re not giving up. I wonder what they’ve got cooking at DHS?

And I wonder how they’ll magically give DHS the power to supervise elections?

Precisely. They have simply taken their voter suppression efforts underground. Somehow “election integrity” will now become part of the remit of the Heimatssicherheitsabteilung and will be enforced by ICE Einsatzgruppen.
