COMPARE her acceptance speech to bernie sanders acceptance speech and see what a truly vile creature she is…one who has used her congressional seat to enrich herself to the tune of 100 million dollars as she does the bidding of wall street… bragging!! how she can get their money…to use in undermining every progressive in the country…by supporting their opponents with millions of dollars and undermining their platforms that are supported even by a majority of repiglicons…issues like medicare for all.

There’s room for a balance between these two positions. I envision a House where the Ocasio-style legislators pick the fight, the Pelosi-style legislators make the deal, and then each thanks the other for their work in making the outcome happen. The Pelosi-Ocasio moment with the select committee on climate change yesterday was a great example of how it can be done, as long as the rest of us without all the perspective don’t take the machinations as a personal affront.
This, you need rabble-rouser as well as deal-makers, if only so the deal-makers have someone they can point to and say “You think I’m asking a lot? Look at what my coalition wants, I’m already meeting you halfway.” Without the rabble-rousers providing a visible left-wing alternative, the right is able to pull the discussion further right by treating moderate compromise positions as if they are far-left positions.
