Just goes to show that a stable, well-functioning democracy is much better protection against terrorism and invasion than a bricks-and-mortar barrier.

Border Patrol Council conducted a voluntary survey last year of agents in Tucson, Arizona, and Laredo, Texas, and found that nearly 90 percent of them agreed that a “wall system in strategic locations is necessary to securing the border.”

Never mind the validity of such a survey – “a wall system in strategic locations” is what we have now.

Well, duh. When you phrase it like that, damn near everyone says yes. And that’s what we already have. And it’s not what Trump is proposing.
