I guess I always thought executive privilege was the friendly witness’ legal excuse for refusing to testify. Not the President’s power to deep six a hostile witness.
So how does that work when the witness wants to testify?
Thank you for this summary and list. Do you think it is worth considering what questions Comey might or might be willing to answer given the special counsel efforts? I’m confident some form of all thes questions will be asked, but no confidence they will be clearly answer either bc of national security and/or an ongoing investigation.
